Selena Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco were all smiles as they stepped out for their date night in New York City on Wednesday evening.

The 32-year-old actress appeared to be in bright spirits as she and her husband-to-be, 37, headed to a local H๏τspot with a crew of security guards.

The couple’s outing comes after it was reported that Gomez’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Bieber is considering taking legal action against trolls online.

The 28-year-old was recently accused of liking a ‘mean post’ about Gomez and Blanco and she has been erroneously portrayed as being a bully and a stalker by various social media personalities.

Shrugging off the drama, Gomez put on a sultry display in a sheer, turtleneck top, which revealed the outline of her bra, and an oversize, faux leather jacket.

She paired the top with high-waisted, medium-wash jeans and a brown, suede belt with a chunky, gold buckle to match the hardware on her chic jacket.

She left her raven black, collarbone-length bob down in a sleek, straight style and wore chunky, gold hoop earrings, which peeked out from behind her silky curtain of hair.

She looked radiant in a soft and dewy makeup look featuring rosy pink blush and a glossy, brick red lip.

At her side, her soon-to-be husband showcased his effortless, casual-chic style as he mixed a bold, workman’s jacket with patches and graphics all over the garb.

He paired the jacket with a pistachio green T-shirt and tie-dyed cut-off pants.

He completed his look with black, leather boots and layered several gold chains on his neck. 

The couple’s outing comes just shortly before they are set to release their collaborative record, Gomez’s fourth studio album, which is тιтled I Said I Love You First on March 21.

Amid their new LP release, the pair also opened up about wedding planning and said they are taking it ‘one day at a time,’ per Rolling Stone.

Wednesday’s sighting comes just after Hailey has been portrayed as an online bully after reportedly sharing content mocking Gomez and Blanco.

A TikToker recently claimed Hailey liked a post she shared mocking Gomez, 32, and Blanco, 37 – which Bieber denied via a rep.

Additionally, a seven part series on YouTube alleging Hailey stalked Justin, 31, and networked her way into marrying him, according to TMZ.

Hailey is said to be fed up with the mean-spirited narrative, one which she has been facing on-off for years.

Insiders told TMZ the online narratives have been doctored and made up to show Hailey in a negative light.

Hailey’s primary concern is that viewers are taking the information at face value.

While she has long avoided directly addressing the misinformation as she felt the comments were ridiculous and untruthful, her feelings toward the matter have changed ever since she became a parent.

She and Justin welcomed son Jack Blues, their first child together, last August.

Gomez and her fiancé’s outing came on the heels of Hailey — the wife of Justin Bieber, Gomez’s ex-boyfriend — being accused of liking a ‘mean post’ about the newly engaged couple; pictured January 2023 in Hollywood

The new report comes not long after Hailey denied liking a post mocking Selena and Benny.  

TikTok user Courtney Presto recently claimed that the Rhode founder reacted to a clip she posted on February 14, regarding Selena and Benny’s pH๏τo shoot with Interview magazine, in which she made fun of some of the images featuring the pair.

However, a representative for Hailey has refuted the claims. ‘This never happened,’ her spokesperson told Us Weekly.

‘This entire story has been fabricated by a content creator looking to capitalize off of an old, tired narrative,’ Hailey’s rep added.

In December 2024, Gomez revealed that Blanco had popped the question with a romantic picnic proposal that included Taco Bell. 

The pair began privately dating in 2023 and went public with their relationship that December after six months together.
