Robert De Niro’s son, Aaron Kendrick, showed off a whole new look on a rare outing with his famous father out in New York City on Tuesday.
As he accompanied the Taxi Driver star, 81, to the Greenwich H๏τel, Aaron, 30, looked dramatically different than his past public appearances.
Although he has previously been pH๏τographed rocking his natural hair and suits at events, supporting his dad, and in family portraits, Aaron is, now, sporting a long pink hairstyle.
In addition to rocking cotton candy hued dreadlocks under a black beanie, the Oscar winner’s son sported a pair of heeled combat boots.
Aaron, who does not appear to have any public social media accounts, has largely shunned the limelight and, as a result, very little is known about him.
His mother is actress Toukie Smith, best known for her role as Eva Rawley on the NBC sitcom 227.

Smith, 72, and De Niro conceived their twins by in vitro fertilization and they were delivered via surrogate.
The former couple began dating after his divorce from Diahnne Abbott.

They were together for approximately eight years, between 1988 to 1996.
De Niro has previously spoken candidly about raising bi-racial children.
While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2020, the Hollywood legend spoke candidly about raising his biracial children.
‘My children are all half black and I don’t have, even me, I take certain things for granted,’ De Niro admitted.
He continued: ‘When people say that they tell their kids, “Keep your hands [out] when you’re stopped by any cops, keep your hands on the steering wheel, don’t make a sudden move, don’t put your hands below, don’t do this,” you understand that.’
‘That’s scary. That has to change,’ he stated, referencing the conversation around referring to police brutality following George Floyd’s death. ‘Anybody who hurts another person for no reason other than self-defense or the defense of other people around shouldn’t be doing that job.’

That same year, De Niro reflected on whether his kids feel pressured to follow in his footsteps.
‘For my kids, I tell them, “If you want to be an actor or you want to do this or that, that’s fine as long as you’re happy,”‘ he told People. ‘Just don’t sell yourself short. That’s the most I would say — push yourself a little more and reach for what you really think it is you want to do. Don’t be afraid.’
He continued: ‘It’s important for them to find their own lane.’
Although Aaron has not pursued fame, his twin brother, Julian is a working actor.
He got his first major break in 2016 when he appeared in In Dubious Battle alongside a star-studded cast which included Selena Gomez and James Franco.

But his TV debut took a little longer to come to fruition.
Julian took up the role as a young Barack Obama in Showtime’s drama series The First Lady in 2022.
The 30-year-old, who studied computer science and math at New York University, has also shown a great deal of prowess with the written word too.
In 2018, he even had a study – тιтled ‘What The World Wants’ – published in The Washington Post.
In it, the star explored the results of an in-depth Twitter analysis – which he conducted alongside his professor and a classmate – in order to uncover ‘what people craved the most in 2018.’
