EastEnders fans have called out two ‘atrocious’ problems with the BBC soap’s leading ladies.
As this week’s episodes of the popular drama have rolled out, some viewers have spotted a string of blunders.
Monday’s instalment saw Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) spend an evening with Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman).
Afterwards, Kathy sent Harvey a text expressing how she was missing him, but the scene featured a slip-up that producers seemed to miss.
She appeared to be holding her phone upside down as she messaged Harvey and some viewers were quick to spot the blunder.
One posted on X: ‘At least try holding it the right way round #EastEnders.’

Someone else penned: ‘Aw leave her she’s old and trying to figure out how a phone works.’
Wednesday’s episode, which is already available to stream on BBC iPlayer, also prompted fans to call out an issue with another character from the soap.
One viewer noticed that leading lady Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) appears to be missing from the instalment without explanation.
An account on X called @WhereKatSlaters has been tracking her attendance and recently posted: ‘Kat Slater did not appear on #EastEnders this morning.
‘#JessieWallace has appeared in 11 episodes out of 45 (24.44%) episodes this year. Atrocious attendance!’
The character was last seen in the London-based soap on March 13 when she tackled issues with her son Tommy Moon who has returned to live with her.
EastEnders has seen other blunders in its time, including last month when there was a possible mishap during a live episode.
Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cᴀssidy) welcomed her baby girl into the world after she was trapped in the Queen Vic during the fire.

The nurse, Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) and Lauren Branning (Jaqueline Jossa) were over the moon when the infant finally started crying amongst the drama.
However, many fans pointed out the same thing about Sonia’s daughter – that she had some how managed to dramatically grow in size throughout the live episode.
One wrote on X: ‘Sonia’s baby has tripled in size within 5 mins… #EastEnders.’
Another added: ‘Size of that baby.’
A third wrote: ‘Sonia’s baby aged 2 months in 3 minutes.’
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
