Mariah Carey fans went wild after she attended the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards with toyboy Anderson .Paak. 

The singer, 55, set tongues wagging as she put on a loved up display with the Silk Sonic member, 39, while she accepted the Icon Award at the event. 

The couple, who were first linked in December, held hands at the event which sparked a response from fans online.

Mariah’s red H๏τ romance with Anderson proudly sitting next to her as host LL Cool J paid tribute to the music legend months after they were first romantically linked together.

However, perhaps the most telling sign that there is romance in the air between the two talented performers came when Mariah stood up to accept the award and the toyboy could be seen holding her hand.

The Make It Better hitmaker was every bit the gentlemen as he helped her up the stairs to the stage before handing her off to LL Cool J for the night.

A cute moment also occurred on the stairs as Anderson pointed at Mariah and rotated his hand as a way to get the crowd to cheer for her more.

The two have been working on new music together but there have been dating rumours for months.

Mariah and Anderson were seen holding hands in Aspen as they enjoyed an affectionate trip to Aspen back in December.

Anderson had been giving social media followers a sneak peak of their musical collaboration, and over the summer shared video of him and Mariah at the legendary Electric Lady music studios in the Big Apple.

Anderson linked up with Mariah again this past Halloween – he shared a snap of himself dressed as a member of Daft Punk as he celebrated the holiday alongside Carey.

Mariah was last in a long-term relationship with back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka however they went their separate ways last year, while in January Anderson filed for divorce from Jae Lin after more than 10 years of marriage and two children together.

Mariah was previously married to actor Nick Cannon from 2008 to 2016 and they share 13-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan together.

Anderson filed to end his marriage to Jae Lin in January 2024 after 13 years of marriage and two children together. 

Elsewhere, Mariah was visibly emotional as she took to the stage at the LA ceremony – but fans were left fearing for her health after she appeared to stumble over her words.

Carey kicked off her speech by humorously asking the audience, ‘Is the lighting okay, because I don’t like bad lighting.’

She then showcased her ensemble and expressed how it had always been a ‘dream’ to hear herself on the radio. 

‘Even now I still get excited when I hear one of my songs playing on the radio. It never stops being magical.’

Mariah gave a special shout out to her fans and then also paid a loving tribute to her late mother Patricia Carey who pᴀssed away last year in August. 

‘On this Saint Patrick’s Day, I want to honour my mother Patricia Carey for giving me the gift of music,’ the star concluded.
