Teyana Taylor might have finalized her messy divorce from Iman Shumpert on June 27 after six years of marriage, but their legal war is far from over.

The 34-year-old Independent Spirit Award nominee wants their divorce judge to hold the 34-year-old rapper in contempt of court, lock him up for 20 days, and hit him with maximum fines for allegedly leaking sealed details of their ‘settlement’ to the media – according to TMZ Hip Hop.

Teyana’s legal team claimed she was getting online hate over being awarded four properties by the court while Iman was awarded only three – including a Miami condo she said he originally gifted to her.

Taylor was awarded a tour bus, which she claims she paid for, as well as a Maybach she bought after Shumpert ‘crashed, totaled, and abandoned her Rolls Royce without replacing it.’

Before they settled, Taylor accused Shumpert of withdrawing nearly $4M from their shared account, leaving her a $200K bill for home renovations, being under the influence around their kids, and cutting off the utilities at their family home. 

The Twitch gamer – who just launched cannabis brand TSA Approved – hasn’t had a gig as an NBA shooting guard gig since playing two games for the Brooklyn Nets back in 2021.

Despite announcing her retirement from the music industry in 2020, the Harlem-born beauty’s vocals will be featured on the track Hard Times (Smile) off Will Smith’s fifth studio album Based on a True Story dropping March 28.

Last Saturday, Teyana – who’s rumored to be dating Aaron Pierre – helped celebrate the 55th birthday of her All’s Fair co-star Niecy Nash at a rodeo-themed bash also attended by their castmates Sarah Paulson and Naomi Watts. 

Taylor plays a mystery role in Hulu’s $69.7M-budget legal drama also starring Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Brooke Shields, Matthew Noszka, and Ed O’Neill.

Last September, the former Kanye West muse wrapped a mystery role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s $175M-budget film now тιтled One Battle After Another, which is said to be a modern adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 postmodern novel Vineland.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ IMAX crime drama – also starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, and Alana Haim – is said to be the 54-year-old filmmaker’s ‘most commercial’ film to date and it’s scheduled to hit US/UK theaters August 8.

Teyana also has two upcoming Netflix films – Tyler Perry’s single mom drama Straw and Joe Carnahan’s crime thriller RIP.
