This week Lizzo was a guest on the latest episode of Andy Cohen’s self-тιтled SiriusXM radio show.

During their sit-down, the 36-year-old singer called out the 56-year-old media maven for previously putting her romance with boyfriend Myke Wright on blast.

When Andy asked whether she’s still ‘in love’ with Myke, she pointed out their last interview in 2022, during which he posed the same question, subsequently revealing her relationship status to the public.

‘I really got beef with you because the last time we saw each other you f***ing outed me,’ she remembered, adding, ‘That was so funny.’

Andy acknowledged he inadvertently ‘stepped in s**t’ in the former interview, taking responsibility as he explained he ‘did not know at all.’

‘I outed you,’ he confirmed. ‘Your boyfriend was in the room…’

Lizzo, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson, described her point of view during the live radio mishap three years ago.

‘I was in such a weird position because, like, we’re so private,’ she recalled. ‘But he was there and I was like, “I don’t want to say “no” because I don’t want to like [hurt him].”‘

Cohen later asked if his 2022 question caused any problems between Lizzo and her boyfriend.

She said that she and her beau remained on good terms, but noted, ‘It started s**t with the world, though,’ while laughing.

‘I think when the world sees two happy people, they want to destroy them,’ she mused.

Jefferson and Wright made their first public appearance together in June 2022, months after the awkward interview.

The couple met while hosting MTV’s Wonderland in 2016, and were first spotted together in 2021. 

Lizzo made a triumphant return to the stage last week with a show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

Addressing the audience between songs, she opened up about her struggle with depression after getting hit with Sєxual harᴀssment lawsuits in 2023.

She confessed things got so ‘dark’ for her at times that she started to have suicidal thoughts.

‘I named [my album Love In Real Life] because about a year and a half ago — it’s so hard for me to talk about — I was in such a dark, deep depression,’ the classically trained musician shared.

‘I was so heartbroken by the world and so deeply hurt that I didn’t want to live anymore, and I was so deeply afraid of people that I didn’t want to be seen. Eventually I got over that fear,’ she continued.

The hitmaker said her breakthrough came when a complete stranger at a concert ‘looked at me and said, “Lizzo, I love you.”‘
