Kelly Clarkson is back on her talk show after a mysterious absence.

On Tuesday the pop star looked healthy as she returned to her hosting duties on her popular program. She was seen on set in new images shared to Instagram.

It is not known if the beauty addressed why she was gone from the show for 10 episodes when she relied on guest hosts such as Molly Sims and Brooke Shields.

All that has been leaked is that Kelly was taking some time off for a ‘private matter.’

The American Idol veteran looked stylish in a brown belted dress and snakeskin boots with her highlighted hair down as she talked to guest Adam Scott.

Kelly also sang with My Band Y’all; they did a cover of Flames by up-and-coming New Zealand artist Will Swinton.

Clarkson will be out again on Wednesday as Andy Cohen plays guest host, but she will return on Thursday and Friday.

Scott looked dapper in a suit as he talked Severance. 

‘They are not nice people…’ Scott joked about his friends Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell.

They have been leaving him ‘borderline abusive’ voice memos about Severance, and Kelly was laughing while listening to them.

Scott also reacted to Severance becoming one of the most popular shows on TV, and admits the cast and crew have been in a state of relief since it came out. 

He addressed maintaining secrecy around Season 2, including using code names for the show.

Kelly surprised Adam with a message from Ben Stiller revealing why he gifted Adam a pogo stick for his 51st birthday, and Adam shared stories behind never-before-seen pH๏τos from his camera roll.
