Maya Jama looked unrecognisable as she shared an adorable childhood snap of herself on Thursday.
The TV presenter, 30, sported a pink sleeveless floral top and a pair of dark jeans in the pH๏τo where her hair was styled in pigtails.
Maya was born and raised in Bristol where she lived with her mother Sadie and her brother Omar.
Her father Hussein was in and out of prison while she is growing up and she last spoke to him in 2017 while doing a documentary on absent fathers.
As a child, acting was Maya’s initial ambition but later realised presenting might suit her better as she looked up to the likes of Davina McCall and June Sarpong.

The presenter took to her Instagram to give her followers a peek at the behind-the-scenes of the glamorous campaign for a men’s perfume, filmed in Palermo, Italy.
Maya looked nothing short of sensational as she flaunted her incredible figure in a floral figure-hugging-dress and black lace veil.
While she cosied up to her co-star Michele, 34, who looked typically dashing in a white open-collared shirt, smart trousers and neckerchief.
She shared footage from the sun-soaked set, showing the cameras following her movements as she strutted across a stunning town square.
Another scene saw Michele leading Maya by the hand through busy village streets, with the pair showing a natural and sizzling chemistry.
And the raciest snap yet saw the Love Island host and the Italian hunk embracing, with their heads cut out of the sH๏τ.
While other snaps saw Maya posing with a number of other actresses of all different ages, all dressed in identical outfits to herself.
Showing her quick-witted sense of humour, one clip saw her surrounded by her ‘lookalikes’ and quipping: ‘Me and the girlies, off to brunch!’

Captioning the post, the star – who was unveiled as the face of the brand last year – gushed: ‘BTS from the global Dolce & Gabbana men’s perfume advert, out now. A pinch me moment’.
Believed to be worth thousands, the Dolce & Gabbana deal has catapulted the Bristol-born beauty to the forefront of fashion.
However, it comes just days after Gary Lineker publicly confirmed Maya’s new romance with Manchester City star Ruben Dias.
The brunette beauty has been reported to be secretly dating the Manchester City star, 27, after the pair met at the European Music Awards in November.
Rumours surrounded the pair intensified after Ruben shared a pH๏τo from his New Year celebrations in Ibiza, of two people gazing at a sunset with their faces obscured, which fans became convinced was Maya.
In February, the pair were spotted wearing matching £5,050 ‘LOVE Bracelets’ by Cartier.
And last week, Maya added fuel to speculation that her relationship with the Portugal player is taking another serious step as she hinted she is taking Portuguese lessons.
While neither had made the relationship public, football star Gary took matters into his own hands this week as he referenced their romance.

Following the announcement that Maya would serve as a manager in the Baller League alongside Juventus forward Alisha Lehmann, she appeared on their social media to react to the news.
She jokingly called Micah Richards her ‘nemesis’ and made fun of his age as they played up their rivalry.
Micah told her: ‘You disrespected me, didn’t you? You said I look 40 years old, I’m only 36! You do me wrong man. How old are you?’
Maya laughed as she replied: ‘I’m 30 actually, on the dot. Just 3, 0, new, fresh 30. I just got there.’
However, Gary suddenly appeared in the frame to interrupt the pair’s playful banter and seemingly let slip confirmation of Maya’s romance with Ruben.
He said: ‘Micah, stop flirting and get her boyfriend to play for us!’ sparking a burst of laughter.
While Maya seemed to be taken aback by the public reference to her relationship, as she shouted: ‘Get out! This is why I don’t talk to old people. They’re so weird’.
