The cover pH๏τo for her post was a selfie of her and Sienna smiling as they leaned over Matt laying down in a hospital bed.
‘The kids were very shaken up but thankfully we can be smiling because he will be okay! He came home today,’ she shared.
The second and third pH๏τos showed Sienna hugging her dad and gifting him a teddy bear as she wished him a speedy recovery.
Gina thanked her children’s stepmother, Matt’s current wife Britt Kirschenheiter, for getting him to the hospital so quickly.
‘The kids and Trav and I are so happy to have their dad back,’ she added, referencing her boyfriend Travis Mullen — whose three children from a previous relationship are also a part of their blended family.
Their blended family also includes his daughters Presley and Bennett and son Joseph.
Gina also included pH๏τos of their other kids in the hospital room, including one snapsH๏τ of Britt with her daughter Gemma, 10, and Sienna.
She said the medical emergency was ‘too close of a call’ and ‘really puts things in perspective.’
‘We will all be changing our lifestyle and leaning into the healthy because being there for our kids is the only thing that matters,’ she wrote.
