Hilaria Baldwin broke down in tears while recalling the ‘physically and emotionally hard’ miscarriage she suffered six years prior during Sunday’s episode – тιтled ‘Always Be Cleaning’ – of her family’s TLC reality show, The Baldwins.
‘So, I had a miscarriage,’ the 41-year-old mother-of-seven began before becoming overwhelmed with emotion. ‘I’ll be okay.’
Hilaria (born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas) admitted it was difficult going public about losing the baby between four and five months when everything had seemed to be going well with her pregnancy: ‘It’s a very hard thing to go through.’
‘You know, she… they don’t know why she died,’ Baldwin cried of the fetus having ‘no heartbeat.’
‘I just went in for, like, a normal scan. But I knew because… I think I knew because I couldn’t feel her. And so I think I knew. But they don’t want to know. So it was, yeah, it was hard. I had an attachment, you know? I was excited.
‘And when you have a later miscarriage, loss, whatever word you want to use, your body has to essentially have the baby. It is definitely, just, a physically and emotionally hard experience.’

Back in 2019, the former yoga instructor publicly declared that she wanted ‘to be a part of the effort to normalize miscarriage and remove the stigma from it.’
Hilaria went on to give birth to her now four-year-old son Eduardo and she and husband Alec Baldwin welcomed four-year-old daughter Marilu and two-year-old daughter Ilaria via surrogate.
The married couple of 12 years – who enlist two nannies – are also proud parents of 11-year-old daughter Carmen, nine-year-old son Rafael, eight-year-old son Leonardo, and six-year-old son Romeo.

The 66-year-old Oscar nominee’s eldest – 29-year-old daughter Ireland from his seven-year marriage to ex-wife Kim Basinger – also makes an appearance in The Baldwins along with her 20-month-old daughter Holland and babydaddy RAC.
‘My relationship with my daughter Ireland was so negatively impacted by my divorce from her mother,’ explained Alec, who once called her a ‘rude, thoughtless little pig.’
‘It took a long time to restore that. This is why I think I’m so aware of my relationship with my [younger] kids.’
The dismally-reviewed show reportedly scored 682K viewers for TLC on its February 23rd premiere, but ratings dropped substantially by 38% to 423K viewers for the March 2nd episode.
The cable network has yet to announce a second season renewal for The Baldwins, but Baldwin teased to Us Weekly last Tuesday: ‘She’ll be back.’

Meanwhile, Alec’s involuntary manslaughter trial was dismissed on July 12 after he denied ever pulling the trigger on the revolver that fired a single bullet into Rust director Joel Souza’s arm and punctured cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’s chest killing her in 2021.
Halyna tragically died, at age 42, leaving behind her husband Matt Hutchins and 12-year-old son Andros and she’s buried near the pond at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was sentenced to 18 months in New Mexico Women’s Correctional Facility on April 15 for involuntary manslaughter conviction for her role in the shooting.
On January 9, Baldwin filed a civil lawsuit against the Rust case prosecutors, investigators, and commissioners for defamation and malicious prosecution and civil rights violations due to ‘intentionally mishandling evidence.’
