Christian Horner was in great spirits as he gave wife Geri’s Spice Girls bandmant Mel C a tour of the Red Bull garage ahead of the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday.

The Red Bull team principle, 51, looked in good spirits as he showed the singer, also 51, the ropes of Formula One ahead of the first race of the season.

Mel cut a cool figure in a navy pinstriped suit which she teamed with a white crop top and matching trainers.

As the engineers worked on the two Red Bull cars in the garage ahead of Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson racing, Mel posed up a storm.

The pair later caught up again on the grid as they posed for a pH๏τo in front of four-time world champion Max’s car which was being shielded from the rain by a canopy.

Mel was joined on the grid and in the paddock by her younger model Aussie boyfriend Chris Dingwall who looked dapper in a grey checked blazer and matching trousers.

During the intense race, Lando Norris held off Red Bull’s Max to take the first F1 win of the season Down Under.

The Briton narrowly survived a late shower and worrying slither into the gravel to win a wet and wacky Australian Grand Prix by a whisker as Max followed seconds behind after three safety cars took place during the race.

Meanwhile Geri remained in the UK as she oozed elegance in a white turtle neck jumper and trousers as she enjoyed the last day of the races at Cheltenham Festival on Friday.

The Spice Girls star, 52, appeared in high-spirits as she watched the horse races from a star-studded box.

Stepping out in her staple all-white ensembles, Geri looked happy and confident in the striking outfit.

She teamed her jaw-dropping race day look with a tan hat and a subtle swipe of makeup.

Geri flaunted her toned physique in high-waisted figure-hugging trousers, adorned with gold buckles.

At one point, Geri, who was seen without her Formula 1 husband Christian, was seen glued to her phone.

The Spice Girls were the biggest girl band of the nineties but hopes of another reformation were thought to have been have been scuppered due to an ugly feud between two members.

Reports emerged in November that Geri backed out of a huge Netflix biopic that would have netted each of the five members £1million each .

According to The Sun, the streaming service has told the band to make up otherwise, much like controversial drama The Crown, it will make the show without any input from the people featured in it.

A source said: ‘Executives are keen to have all the group on board providing as much input as possible – after all they are pop royalty.

‘But Netflix are the organisation who defied the wishes of real royalty and went ahead and made The Crown, so they aren’t afraid to go it alone when they have to.

‘The project is in its very early stages so there’s plenty of time to get all five Spice Girls involved.

In November, Geri’s husband Christian Horner was forced to deny claims he was to blame for ‘derailing’ the band’s TV project.

He told the PA news agency: ‘There is a lot being written about different things, but there are absolutely no plans to do a family documentary.

‘Netflix do enough, and you see enough of the behind-the-scenes on that. So where that report has come from, I have absolutely no idea.’

The feud began when Mel confessed she had a lesbian fling with Geri during the band’s nineties heyday on Piers Morgan’s chat show in 2019.
