Normani fans are going wild after it was revealed that the singer is now engaged.

Her hunky NFL star boyfriend DeKaylin ‘DK’ Metcalf, 27, made the announcement at a press conference for his new team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, on Thursday.

DK — who was traded by the Seattle Seahawks — said he popped the question on Wednesday in front of both his and Normani’s family during a trip to Houston, Texas.

Normani was present for the press conference, where she proudly showed off her diamond engagement ring.

‘She’s right there. Hold that ring up, baby,’ exclaimed DK as he gestured to his wife-to-be.

Normani, wearing a Steelers jersey, was seen standing to DK’s right as he spoke at a podium.

‘Her family and my family were in Houston. It was my sister’s spring break and I just thought about getting the whole family together just for a big Kumbaya and, you know, joining our families with the ring,’ he explained.

Normani admitted that the proposal caught her by total surprise. ‘They got me good,’ the Fifth Harmony alum said with a laugh.

DK said that he’d been planing to propose ‘for a while’ and that he even ‘tried’ to ask Normani for her hand in marriage last year but it didn’t end up working out.

‘I tried to [propose] last year but she’s a singer so her work conflicted with our schedules,’ he explained.

So, DK waited until their schedules weren’t at odds to try again.

‘I started sending her flowers with a story [attached to each one] and the last letter was, ‘Will you marry me?’ And she said yes.’

The couple went public with their romance in 2022.

But the athlete shared Thursday that he and Normani were first introduced two years prior by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson, 36.

The couple were flooded with congratulatory messages from their combined fanbases in the comments of the post.

They also joked that Normani’s ‘love’ for her husband-to-be has kept her from making new music.

Fans branded Normani and DK a ‘power couple’ as they reacted to pH๏τos of the couple circulating online.

However, some admitted that they were completely unaware that Normani had been dating DK for over two years as they asked, ‘who is this?’
