The Traitors stars reunite for ultimate game of laughter in hilarious new Red Nose Day sketch

Alexander, Charlotte, Fozia, Linda and Minah – some of the iconic contestants from series three of The Traitors – have reunited for a hilarious new sketch for Red Nose Day.

The brand-new and exclusive online sketch, released in full on Friday, sees the Traitors go head-to-head in a bid to win the Rare Ruby Red Nose and be crowned the funniest Traitor of them all.

No shields, no cloaks and not a murder or banishment in sight – this is a fun-filled Red Nose Day battle of the laughs that will deliver a real treat for fans of the show.

With the Rare Ruby Nose firmly in their sights, each Traitor is tasked with donning their Red Nose and taking it in turns to make their fellow Traitors laugh by completing a different task.

The result? A corker of a sketch that brings us more of Linda’s theatrical flair, Alexander displaying his operatic prowess whilst juggling, Minah’s best dad joke featuring an iconic head turn, Charlotte’s ever-changing accent, Fozia’s very best Claudia Winkleman impression, and so much more.

To find out who comes out on top, fans can watch the sketch in full on Comic Relief’s YouTube channel.

The new, sparkly Rare Ruby Nose is a gem of an addition to this year’s collection of Red Noses – a collection that celebrates 40 years of Comic Relief by featuring iconic designs from the 80s, 90s, noughties, and 10s, as well as a brand-new Cupcake Nose.

Customers have a 1 in 125 chance of unboxing a Rare Ruby Nose whenever they purchase a Nose. Individual Noses are available from £2.50* with free delivery on Amazon, the official home of the Red Nose. This year’s Noses are soft, plant-based and plastic-free.

Commenting on this year’s Red Noses, Charlotte said: ‘The Red Noses this year are amazing! I loved trying them all.

‘I thought my favourite would be the Cupcake Nose as I love cakes, but I actually think I like the 80s Nose best – the statement singular round blob is quite paired back and classy as Red Noses go!

‘I think the dinosaur Nose is super cute and Faithful-friendly, and the biggest Traitors Nose is the New Ruby Red Nose – because all Traitors, including me, would surely want to get their hands on the sparkly prize.’

She added: ‘It is so wonderful to have the chance to be part of a sketch for Comic Relief. It’s a charity I’ve grown up with, always watching the show on BBC, texting in my donation and wearing my Red Nose to school, so it’s really special to have the chance to contribute.’

Meanwhile, Alexander added: ‘Comic Relief is one of those things you grow up with and it’s an insтιтution. You watch it every year as a child and then as an adult.

‘To be part of something like this is such a special thing to be able to do. I’m just incredibly excited to be part of that huge history and of course this year it’s the 40th birthday, so, it’s such a special time to be involved.’

He added: ‘We all ᴀssociate Red Nose Day with giving and with charity and with doing something for other people.

‘That’s something that has been enormously important to me. I’ve talked about my brother and the importance of helping people with special needs and I think the beauty of Red Nose Day is that it helps so many people who are disadvantaged from so many backgrounds. And that’s a cause I can really, really, really get behind.’

Fozia said: ‘It was lovely to catch up with my fellow Traitors cast and be part of making history and celebrating Comic Relief’s 40th birthday.

‘There is a level of joy you get from putting a smile on someone’s face, and raising funds at the same time for worthy causes makes it very rewarding.’

Money raised by the Red Noses will help raise vital funds that could help put food on plates and roofs over heads, keep little ones safe and help support families affected by conflict here in the UK and around the world.

With Red Nose Day now only one week away, there’s still time to buy a Red Nose from Amazon, the official home of the Red Nose, with free One-Day Delivery for all customers.

It comes as Alexander’s career appears to be going from strength to strength, as the former diplomat has revealed he’s set to host his own radio show

Beginning on March 14th, the series will be broadcast every Friday from 9pm to 10pm on Classic FM and Global Player, where the series will also be available on catch up.

Across the series, Alexander will play his favourite classical music pieces and reveal why they are special to him.

The songs include Beethoven Symphony No.7, which Alexander first heard while at university; a recording by classical singer Fatma Said that reminds him of his time spent as a diplomat in the Middle East, and Le Onde by Ludovico Einaudi, which helped him following the death of his younger brother.

Speaking about his new show, Alexander said: ‘I’m a big fan of Classic FM – so it’s an honour to be part of such an iconic station.

‘I love how it makes classical music so accessible, including people like me who are still learning!

‘There’s a saying that ‘music isn’t meant to be heard – it’s meant to be felt’. I’d like to share the music that really makes me feel – happiness, joy, sadness, reflection – and see if it does the same for you.

‘Come join me on a journey to explore these and many more pieces I don’t yet know – discovering the music, the people that wrote it, and the emotions they create.’

Philip Noyce, Classic FM’s Managing Editor, said: “He’s just starred in one of the biggest TV programmes, so we’re really excited to welcome Alexander to the Classic FM family as the host of our new Friday night series.

‘His pᴀssion for classical music is infectious, so it’s great that he’s sharing his most faithful classics with our listeners over the next five weeks and telling us why we can put our trust in them.’

Red Nose Day returns on Friday 21 March from 7pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
