That’s right – it’s Mia Duffy, the daughter of Keith Duffy and Lisa Smith.

Marking the special occasion, Keith celebrated his daughter’s 25th birthday with a heartfelt tribute on social media on Wednesday.

The 50-year-old Boyzone star, who often expresses how proud he is of his children, Mia, 25, and Jay, 28, took to Instagram to share his love for the birthday girl.

Alongside a black-and-white pH๏τo of himself and Mia huddled close, Keith also posted a collection of throwback snaps from her childhood to more recent moments.

He penned: ‘It’s hard to put into words the love I feel for this amazing young lady.

‘The pride, the warmth, the compᴀssion, the kindness, the courage, the love, love, love – I just burst with happiness.

‘Happy quarter century to the most precious decent, kind and beautiful human I know. How are you 25 years?

‘I’ve loved every second since you cried your first tear and smiled your first smile. I hope I can always make you smile.

‘You are my life young lady.’

Mia was diagnosed with autism when she was 18 months old and qualified in 2022 in Enterprise Computing from Dublin City University.

Opening up about her autism at the time, Keith expressed his joy at Mia’s achievements and acknowledge the many obstacles she has overcome.

The Irish singer told the Mirror: ‘She’s doing wonderful – we’re very, very proud of her. Mia’s very determined. 

‘She puts a lot of pressure on herself, but she achieves a great amount, and that was all down to appropriate intervention at the right stage of her life, which we had to fight hand over tooth for, but we got there.’

The No Matter What singer admitted that when Mia was younger, he and his wife Lisa knew very little about autism, only noticing ‘funny little traits’ in their daughter as a child.

‘She was doing all kinds of things that were alien to us, and we thought there was something not quite right,’ he shared.

At the time, Keith and Lisa struggled to understand what was happening, as autism awareness was limited.

‘Somebody suggested autism, but we had no idea what autism was at the time – we had no education on it, and we didn’t understand it.’

In 2024, Keith and Lisa were reportedly set to divorce after 25 years of marriage, with him moving out of their £1.15 million Dublin home before Christmas.

They have since unfollowed each other on social media and it is claimed Keith is ‘in bits’.

Reports of their split emerged in Januray as it was claimed Keith is ‘in bits’.

A source told the Mirror: ‘It has come as a shock to everyone. Back in July, they appeared happier than ever while celebrating 25 years together on a trip of a lifetime to the French Riviera.’

The source added that they were ‘trying to keep the divorce civil’ for the sake of their children. The couple have now unfollowed each other on social media.
