Wheel of Fortune’s Vanna White got her very first tattoo at the age of 68.
On Monday, the longtime game show co-host revealed she got her ink done by her 27-year-old daughter Giovanna ‘Gigi’ Santo Pietro.
White also shocked viewers by showing off the sentimental tattoo during this week’s taping of the beloved TV show.
This week, she also made another surprising admission as she revealed she only works 34 days out of the entire year for her ‘$10 million’ salary.
She also took to her Instagram to share a video of herself taking her 157,000 followers on the behind-the-scenes journey of heading to the tattoo parlor and the process of getting inked.
Right before debuting the finished product, she explained the reason she wanted her daughter to give her her first tattoo.

‘She’s not making me do this,’ White explained. ‘It’s my choice, so I can look at it everyday because she did it.’
Then, she unveiled the ink was a small pink heart on the inside of her wrist.
‘Are you nervous? I can feel you shaking,’ White’s daughter Gigi said as she started tattooing.
‘I don’t know if I can watch. I might pᴀss out,’ White said, joking as she later whispered to the camera. ‘I don’t feel anything.’
Once Gigi finished, White gushed about the masterpiece. ‘It looks perfect,’ she raved. ‘It’s just what I wanted.’
In addition to Gigi, White also shares son Nikko, 30, with her ex-husband George Santo Pietro.
A few years ago, White discussed her plans to get her first tattoo and said she always wanted her daughter, who is a tattoo artist by profession, to be involved in the memorable moment.
‘I want to have matching hearts where she’ll do a little heart on me and she’ll do one on herself,’ she told People back in 2022 about her idea for the tattoo, which clearly had been in the works for years.

‘I feel like I need to do that because it’s her and it would be her on me.’
White also praised her daughter for pursuing a career as a tattoo artist during that time.
‘I said, “Gigi, why tattooing?” She goes, “Mom, my art is on someone’s body for the rest of their lives.” I was like, “That’s pretty cool.”
‘You have to be so good and confident,’ she continued. ‘You can’t mess up. So she absolutely loves it. She’s been doing that for the past three years and is doing a great job.’
She added: ‘I’m so, so proud of her.’
