James Bourne has appeared to hint at his McBusted bandmate Danny Jones’ current relationship woes, as he shared a profound post about ‘unhappy marriages’.

Danny, 39, has seen his 10-year marriage to Georgia Horsley thrown into turmoil, after he was caught on camera locking lips with Maura Higgins at the Universal BRITs afterparty.

The pair were also seen looking cosy inside the star-studded bash at 180 House on The Strand and reportedly went on to drink wine together until 6am at a Sony party.

While the McFly star and his wife attempted to put on a show of defiance with an outing in London on Tuesday, they were visibly tense and sources told MailOnline the pair have taken a break and are living separately after his ‘ultimate betrayal’.

Neither Danny nor Georgia have yet addressed the kiss, while his bandmates have also stayed silent about the controversy, which has seen both Danny and Maura hit by a wave of criticism.

However, Busted star James, 41, who joined forces with Danny and the rest of McFly when the two bands formed a supergroup in 2013, sparked speculation that he was addressing the drama this week.

The singer took to his Instagram to repost a video from Paul C Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, where he spoke to physician Gabor Maté about relationships and trauma.

The clip in question, saw Gabor detailing why some people choose to marry spouses that end up hurting them, suggesting it is because they are seeking the love they didn’t get in their childhood. 

In the video, the Hungarian expert says: ‘You always marry somebody that’s going to trigger for you every unhappiness that you ever had in your childhood.

‘So when we find somebody to be in a relationship with, it happens on two levels. One level is, “I find them attractive, they’re humorous, they’re fun to be with.” 

‘Underneath it, there’s a looking for the love that we never got in the first place. So relationships very much are a matter of growing up together, if that can happen.’

He then pointedly adds: ‘But I guarantee you, when you marry somebody, you’re going to find both your dreams and your worst nightmare. 

‘That’s profound that we’re all seeking, subconsciously we’re seeking our parents’ dysfunction. Because that’s what we wanted, the love.’

It comes after MailOnline revealed that Danny and Georgia’s marriage is on the rocks, with the mother-of-one being ‘furious’ and ‘really struggling to get past the betrayal’.

A friend told the Mail’s Grant Tucker: ‘She is furious – not just with her husband’s actions, but with all the chaos this has brought to their lives, particularly for their young son Cooper.

‘All she wants to do is protect her boy from this mess. It has been overwhelming and she needs time to process what has happened. Only then can she begin to talk about the future.

‘They are now on a break and are living apart from each other. She is really struggling to get past the betrayal, but she wants to do what’s best for Cooper’.

Georgia has admitted she was unimpressed by Danny when they first met in 2008, rather than it being love at first sight. 

She previously revealed: ‘He was a bit of a d***, and I didn’t really like him’, adding that he had ‘two other dates lined up’.

But a determined Danny didn’t give up on the blonde model, who had been crowned Miss England the year before.

Georgia finally agreed to a date in 2009, and the couple married near Georgia’s family home at St Mary’s Priory Church in Old Malton, Yorkshire, going on to welcome son Cooper, seven.

Not addressing her husband or his recent antics with former Love Island star Maura, Georgia simply captioned her image with a blue love heart emoji.

While a host of Georgia’s showbiz pals were quick to share their support for her in the comments and alluded to her marriage troubles.

Sarah Louise Merrygold, wife of JLS star Aston penned: ‘Little dude. sending you all my love’, while Binky Felstead wrote: ‘We got you girl! Adore you’.

Anna Whitehouse shared: ‘Love you darling. We’ve got you’ and Chessie King added: ‘Absolutely adore you, we’re alllll rallied round you.’

Despite receiving a flood of supportive comments, Georgia decided to turn off the comments on all her posts.

Hours after she shared the snap, eagle-eyed fans of the pair noted that Danny had mysteriously failed to engage with the post.

It led to some fans speculating that it is a tell-tale sign that all is not well in the Jones household following the kissing furore.

‘This is unfair on his wife, who seems to have put the family and their marriage first. Who knows if another video will emerge, but being honest is now the only way that this has a chance of resolving itself.’

According to The Mirror, the TV presenter’s friends have rallied behind her after Maura had a ‘horrendous’ week being flooded with ‘horrific’ trolling on social media.

One pal told the publication: ‘Maura is a tough character but the reaction to events of the last week has been utterly relentless, and it’s fair to say it’s taken its toll. She has found all of this very difficult to navigate. 

‘She appreciates she’s in the public eye and there is extra interest around her, but the abuse is off the charts, and people need to calm down. She is trying to treat things as business as usual, but it’s hard.’
