And now Tyra Banks is back in action for good on the fashion scene as she turned heads with a series of glamorous appearances at Paris Fashion Week recently.

After taking a break from fashion to launch her ice-cream store chain Smize & Dream in Australia it was revealed at the start of this year that she’d secretly been living in Sydney for 18 months.

And after focusing on her business in recent times it appears she is now moving her attention mostly back to fashion – much to the delight of her fans who she says have been begging for her comeback.

It was recently revealed she has once again signed with IMG Models as she prepares for her fashion comeback. 

She said last month: ‘Returning to my IMG family feels like coming home – but this isn’t just a comeback, it’s a new beginning.

When asked if she’ll walk another runway soon, she simply teased: ‘Probably.’ 

And she has been making waves at Paris Fashion Week amid the fashion comeback.

She showed off an eye-catching new look as she attended the Balenciaga show at Les Invalides last Sunday. 

The model displayed her taut complexion as she arrived for the show in a padded black jacket layered over a matching skinтιԍнт dress.

Tyra accessorised her ensemble with in a pair of bold, oval black sunglᴀsses as she slicked her raven tresses into classy black bun.

The America’s Next Top Model icon was joined by stars including Alessandra Ambrosio, Barbara Palvin and Jessica Alba at the show.

Last month a spokesperson said that in regards to Tyra the agency will focus on securing editorials alongside global fashion, beauty, and lifestyle opportunities.

Banks also revealed her recent surprise runway appearance at the Victoria Secret’s fashion show inspired her comeback.

‘I had no idea it was gonna blow up in the way that it did. So now I am going to model again, officially,’ the star.

‘I’m gonna sign with an agency in Sydney. I’m gonna have agencies in Paris. I’m going to be in New York. Like, I’m just gonna do this.’

She launched her ice-cream store chain Smize & Dream in Los Angeles in 2020. It quickly expanded to Washington, D.C, and then Dubai.

Earlier this year, Tyra revealed she’s been loving her downtime in Australia.

She told The Daily Telegraph she and her family enjoy spending their days hanging out at their local shopping centre and partaking in everyday Aussie activities.

Tyra shares son York Banks Asla, nine, with ex-boyfriend Erik Asla. She and the Norwegian pH๏τographer welcomed him via gestational surrogate in January 2016.

‘We’ll get some breakfast in the mall, then we’ll go to a Hoyts cinema,’ she said.

‘Get some ice cream at the cinema, see a movie, then we might get a foot mᴀssage. We’ll have some lunch… Then go to Target or Kmart.’

Tyra added she loves the Australian Kmart.

Despite walking the runway for luxury fashion houses like Saint Laurent, Chanel and Dior, the supermodel said she thinks the Kmart Down Under is ‘fancy’.

She said after a bit of shopping, she and her family will go and do the groceries.

‘We’ll do Coles, Woolies, whatever, and so that is a whole day at the mall and we don’t do that in America,’ she said.

Tyra explained that ‘mall’ culture in America is a dying pastime because it’s just about shopping for what you ‘want’ instead of what you ‘need’.

In January Tyra broke down in tears on an Australian morning show after revealing she lost her Palisades home in one of the Los Angeles wildfires.

Speaking with hosts Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington during her talk show appearance, she said she previously kept the devastating loss private because she ‘didn’t want to pull a lot of attention to me.’

‘I lost my house. I haven’t really talked about it, but yeah, I have,’ a teary-eyed Tyra said when asked about the fires, which ravaged Southern California for nearly two weeks.

‘I just didn’t want to pull a lot of attention to me. I feel like there’s a lot of people that need that attention so I haven’t talked about it. But I can’t sit here and not tell the truth,’ she explained.
