Scott van-der-Sluis has revealed that he was in talks to take part in Love Island All Stars earlier this year, but pulled out at the very last minute.
The former footballer, 24, has already starred in three different iterations of the hit dating show since 2023, after first coming in as a bombshell on season 10.
He was dumped from the villa on Day 52, but less than a month later, he shocked fans by popping up on Love Island USA.
Scott’s stint overseas was short lived, with him being dumped after just five days, so the star couldn’t resist signing up for the Love Island Games just a few weeks later for his third sH๏τ at love.
And now he has revealed that he could have made it a record-breaking four times in the villa, but pulled back just two days before.
Speaking about the decision to pal and fellow Islander Lochan Nowacki on his YouTube cooking show, Scott said he was considering going on the show with All Stars runner-up Luca Bish.

However, he explained: ‘I was in a moment where I was like, “Right, yeah, I could do this, but if at any point I don’t feel like it at all or something, or I have a rethink, I’m more than prepared to pull out.”
‘And that just happened, I just thought this isn’t the time for me.’
He revealed that he had helped convince Luca to take part in the show however, as the pair built a strong friendship after connecting over a football project in the States.
Scott explained: ‘We were going to do some football project out in America and I wanted him on board, so we spoke on the phone.
‘And then we just ended up speaking on the phone for like an hour. And then we just became mates off it, like texting quite a bit, rang quite a bit.
‘So we’ve been close for like a year now. It was weird because it actually came around the time of the last All Stars. And he texted me on Insta, he was like, “not fancy doing this one?” I was like, “Nah, nah, can’t be bothered with this one.”
‘Then towards the end of the year, once All Stars was coming out again, obviously we spoke to each other about whether we were going to do it or not. And I sort of persuaded him in a way to do it.’
Scott added that there wasn’t anyone he could see him having a connection with in the villa this time round, saying: ‘Every season there’s beautiful women in there, but that doesn’t mean that I’m going to like bounce off them.

While he also made a dig at the older age of this year’s contestants than usual, with Marcel Somerville (pictured) being the oldest contestant yet at 39, and the majority of Islanders being in their late 20s and early 30s
‘So you honestly just don’t know, but when I looked at the lineup there was no one that I instantly thought “oh my God!”‘

As Lochan teased his friend about how he would end up on the next series of Love Island, and joked he’d still be in the villa as ‘an old man’, Scott instantly denied it.
He insisted: ‘I want to be married with three kids by the age of like 32 or two. Oh God you will not find me on any sort of dating show past the age of 28 maximum.’
While he added: ‘You know what’s mad is that Whit [Whitney Adebayo] spent more days on Love Island than I have, when you actually add up the days on the seasons. I’ve not been on Love Island that much!
‘I mean Casey [O’Gorman] did what I couldn’t do go on it three times and win it on the third try.’
It comes after Scott confirmed he’d pulled out of All Stars season two last month, while chatting to Whitney Adebayo on her podcast What’s It Giving.
He explained: ‘I just didn’t feel like it was the right time, you know when you know. Did I feel like it was the right time to walk in that Villa? Personally, no.’

While he admitted his ex Catherine Agbaje being in the villa also played a factor, saying: ‘ Obviously me and Cat if we were put in that situation again, then you never know what could happen’ (seen on show together)

‘But I feel like if we were put in that situation again and it didn’t work and I went a different way, I feel like I just I would just get hated for it.’
And he again made reference to the older age of the lineup, making another savage dig as he said: ‘I’m 24 and a lot of the girls in there they’re in their 30s, mid-30s, and when the cast was announced, there were conversations about me doing it.
‘I was like, “I’m 24. These are in the mid-thirties.” It’s giving Love Island Old Stars.’
