Coleen Nolan has reflected on turning 60 as a single woman and admitted she ‘feels sad that she might not get to love again,’ despite having ‘a lot to give’.
The star, 59, who will celebrate her birthday on March 12, has revealed her reservations about the milestone.
She told The Mirror: ‘[I’m] turning 60 as a single woman and, while that’s right for me at this stage, I did have a moment this week of feeling a little sad that I might not get to love again.’
‘I love being in love and being loved, and I feel I still have a lot to give in that department.’
Coleen admitted: ‘But I won’t be doing the dating app thing again – if I do meet someone it’ll be through fate or friends, although I can’t really imagine it, as the only guys I meet in my industry are either too young, married or gay!’
In November, the Loose Women star revealed she had split from her partner of three years Michael Jones.

Coleen began dating the supermarket logistics worker back in 2021 after meeting on Tinder, with the pair gong on to have an on-off relationship in which she dumped him three times.
However, in a heartbreaking update on her love life, Coleen told how the couple have decided to part ways for good and remain friends, while revealing the reason behind the breakup.
She told OK! Magazine: ‘We’ve decided that we would rather just stay friends, take it as a friendship, And, you know, it’s nothing to do with anyone else, it’s nobody’s fault.
‘But I’m really busy and when I’m not really busy with work I’m busy on the farm and I feel personally that I can’t give time to everything. We still get along great and hopefully we can continue to be friends, who knows?’
Her choice to remain friends with Michael came amid her close friendships with her ex husbands Shane Richie and Ray Fensome, with Coleen noting that this atтιтude comes with ‘age and experience’.
The singer noted that with turning 60, she hasn’t ‘got time’ to wait to see ‘what happens’ in a relationship as she may have done in her twenties, as she remarked that ‘life’s too short’.
On her break-up, she added; ‘I’m not going to say it wasn’t sad, because of course it was. But I really hope that once that sadness goes away we can continue to be friends. I don’t regret any of it, it was fabulous. Michael came along at just the right time for me and I think over the last three-and-a-half years we’ve helped each other grow.’
Reflecting on her love life, the TV personality told how she always opted to focus on ‘the times that were great’ and not the ‘sad ending’, recalling that despite the last two years of both of her marriages being ‘horrendous’, she won’t forget the ‘fantastic’ 10 years she had before that.

Elsewhere in the new interview, Coleen heartbreakingly admitted that it feels ‘weird’ to be turning sixty so soon after losing her sister Linda.
Linda tragically died on January 15, 2025, aged 65 following a 20-year breast cancer battle and suffering from double pneumonia.
Coleen found fame alongside sisters Linda, Maureen, 71, Anne, 74, Denise, 72, and the late Bernie as members of smash hit pop group The Nolans.
A source told OK!: ‘This is a milestone birthday for Coleen, but she is still, of course, going to be thinking about her sister’.
‘Coleen is still very, very sad about losing Linda, so it’s a very bittersweet moment. It’s heartbreaking that Linda won’t be there’.
MailOnline have contacted Coleen’s reps for comment.
Last month Coleen penned an emotional birthday tribute for Linda, as she took to social media to pay tribute on what would have been her sister’s 66th birthday.
The post included a video of Coleen dancing with her sister at a party, with the pair descending into laughter as they showed off their moves.
She captioned the post: ‘To my beautiful sister… think of you everyday, but especially today on your birthday…
‘I miss you so much and life won’t be the same without you in it…’
