Sean Stewart’s girlfriend Julia Stambler was spotted out in Beverly Hills, California, on Monday after the son of rock star Rod was admitted to rehab in Malibu.

Sean, 44, checked into the Cliffside Malibu rehabilitation facility late last month and he has since told how he sought out help to deal with his past traumas and ADHD.

His admission to the $80,000-a-month facility came just months after Sean split from his wife Jody Weintraub and started dating Charlie Sheen’s ex, Julia.

Amid the difficult time, Julia was spotted out-and-about in Beverly Hills as she was pH๏τographed stepping out of her car to run errands.

For the outing, Julia cut a stylish figure in a black cropped T-shirt which gave a flash of her toned midriff, which she styled with low-rise jeans.

She kept comfortable in a pair of chunky black loafers and showed off her natural beauty as she went make-up free for the outing.

Her outing comes after Sean – who is the son of Maggie May hitmaker Rod Stewart and his model ex-wife Alana – opened up about the reason he is in rehab.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Sean said he is in rehab for trauma, persistent ADHD and childhood issues because he still has feelings of not ‘being enough’.

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterised by a spectrum of symptoms that affect attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. 

‘I have struggled with ADHD since I was a kid. I also struggled in school because I had a learning disability, dyslexia, and people called me Stupid Stewart,’ he said.

‘This is something I have been dealing with for many decades and has been very painful, as I am sure many people can understand.’

‘I am here to deal with the pain that I had in my childhood that stemmed from suffering from ADHD and an overall feeling that I can’t succeed in life,’ he added.

The reality TV star said he is currently in therapy and is working through his problems. 

Sean said he wanted to remind his fans that a lot of people suffer with disorders as he opened up about his struggles.

‘Just because I have struggled with ADHD and dyslexia does not mean that I cannot have a successful life and I am learning how to cope with it now,’ he added.

‘I appreciate public figures who are honest about what they have to deal with, and I want to do the same.’ 

He said he is ‘grateful’ for the time to step away from work so he can work on being a ‘better person for my family’ as he told how he one day wants to have children of his own.   

Sean has spoken openly about his battles with addiction in the past, and once claimed being the eldest son of rock royalty was a ‘curse and a hindrance’.

He previously revealed he was ‘around 13’ and a student at Beverly Hills High School when he first started drinking. He later transitioned to harder drugs including ecstasy and heroin.

‘I would go to parties at that age and drink and smoke cannabis and cigarettes,’ he told the Mail  in 2012. ‘It was very easy for me to get drugs.’

By the time he was 19, he had a fully developed drug habit and an alcohol addiction, and as a result was sent to Meadows, a famous treatment centre in Arizona.

He later overdosed, and in December 2001 was arrested and jailed for 90 days after he pleaded no contest to ᴀssault with a ᴅᴇᴀᴅly weapon on then 19-year old student, Jason Rogland, in the car park of a restaurant in Malibu.

He has since had multiple stints in rehab, and his latest comes months after the breakdown of his whirlwind marriage to Jody, the daughter of American film producer Jerry Weintraub.

Sean has been dating his current Julia for the past several months. She is a successful esthetician who owns the salons called SkinSane.

Sean’s famous father Rod has eight children by five women.

His eldest is daughter Sarah Streeter, 61, who he had with his ex-girlfriend Susannah Boffey in November 1963. 

He went on to welcome Kimberly, 45, and Sean with his ex-wife Alana Stewart, and daughter Ruby, 37, with his ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg. 

He then had Renee, 32, and Liam, 30, with his ex-wife Rachel Hunter. His youngest are sons Alastair, 19, and Aiden, 14, who he has with his current wife, Penny Lancaster. 

He is also a grandfather to Kimberly’s daughter, Delilah, Ruby’s son, Otis, and Liam’s son Louie, 21 months, and daughter Elsie Skylar – who he welcomed on March 2.
