Christina Haack announced Monday she reunited with her second ex-husband Ant Anstead to attend their five-year-old son Hudson’s school performance in their first joint Instagram post since splitting in 2020.

After the 45-year-old Englishman gushed in the caption about their ‘little gentleman thriving and crushing’ his performance, the 41-year-old Anaheim native commented: ‘Sweetest boy.’

Christina and Ant’s 21-month marriage didn’t exactly end amicably, so fans delighted when they began refollowing each other on Instagram last summer.

On February 19, Anstead even served guest-judging duties on Haack’s HGTV reality compeтιтion The Flip Off, which co-starred her first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his second wife Heather Rae El Moussa.

‘I came into this endeavor thinking this was about ᴀssessing and judging based on the performance, the design, the execution, the house. But actually, it dawned on me that it was so much more than that,’ the Born Mechanic host said on his episode.

‘Hudson is five now. And in those five years, it’s been really, really difficult. And that changed three months ago. The relationship that we have now is really, really important. And it’s been a transformation. As parents, it took us four and a half years to get to that point, which is really shameful. You and I will be connected forever because we have a kid.’

Ant concluded: ‘So ultimately, I have to stand by the mother of my kid. It puts Christina and me on the same team forever. Because of that, this judge is swayed, she’s on my team and [Tarek and Heather] lose.’

Anstead felt ‘sorry for everything’ the interior designer was ‘going through’ amid her costly divorce from estranged third husband Josh Hall, who filed legal docs on July 16 after less than three years of wedded bliss.

Christina’s 2018 divorce from El Moussa after seven years was far more amicable as they continue to happily co-parent nine-year-old son Brayden and 14-year-old daughter Taylor.

Little Brayden officially made his HGTV debut on last Thursday’s episode of Christina in the Country, which involved a basketball-themed room reveal moment for him in Nashville.

The semi-professional footballer has been dating two-time Oscar winner Renée Zellweger since they met on the set of Celebrity IOU: Joyride in June 2021 – the same exact month he finalized his divorce from Haack.

The 55-year-old Texan has bonded with all of Ant’s children including 21-year-old daughter Amelie and 18-year-old son Archie from his 12-year marriage to first ex-wife Louise Anstead, which ended in 2017.

Renée previously romanced artists like Doyle Bramhall II, Bradley Cooper, Kenny Chesney, Jack White, Matthew Perry, and Jim Carrey.
