Some Ten Pound Poms viewers have ‘given up’ on series two of the Michelle Keegan drama and swiped ‘I’ll watch Millionaire instead’.
The BBC drama returned to screens on Sunday night with its new season but many fans raised the same issue.
Ten Pound Poms follows a group of Brits as they leave the country after World War 2 following the promise of a better life in Australia.
The first episode of series two follows Kate (Michelle Keegan), who is on the run with her son Michael after kidnapping him from his adoptive parents.
Meanwhile the Roberts family have to tackle their new life with a newborn baby.
Other cast members include Faye Marsay as Annie, Warren Brown as Terry and Marcus Graham as landlord Benny Bates.

Created by BAFTA award-winning Danny Brocklehurst, the first season of the post-war drama was first aired back in 2022 and though it proved to be popular, the two-year wait for a new instalment proved to be a problem with some viewers.
Many took to social media to share their thoughts on the series and one described the wait between the seasons as ‘wild’.

It comes after the Mail’s Roland White rated the new instalment three out of four stars.

Fans were originally delighted at the news that the series was returning to screens when Michelle and Warren posted on their Instagram accounts last month.
Warren shared a snap and wrote ‘Cameras are rolling and we are off! Ten Pound Poms Season 2!’
Delighted fans rushed to the comments to say they ‘can’t wait’ to watch.
