The 37-year-old also noted that she was ‘lookin like a baby chic’ while posing for her behind-the-scenes pH๏τo in her post’s caption.

Perry wore a vibrantly colored yellow single-sleeve dress that conformed тιԍнтly to her curvy form while posing for the sH๏τ.

The Firework singer added a bit of shine to her outfit with a pair of sparkling silver earrings.

The hitmaker’s gorgeous black hair remained free-flowing and contrasted perfectly with the light tone of her clothing.

She was also seen while a hairstylist blow-dried her lovely locks in a video that was included with her pH๏τoset.

Perry initially began serving as a judge on American Idol during its sixteenth season, which premiered in 2018.

She previously appeared as a guest judge during the show’s ninth season, which aired in 2010.

The singer was also joined by fellow singers Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie while working on the run of episodes.

The program was previously hosted by numerous figures from the entertainment industry, most notably Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.

Perry previously spoke about working on American Idol during an interview with Variety, where she noted that the show’s newer sets of contestants were bringing much more to the table than ever before.

‘There is so much more confidence or like “fake it until you make it” now. There’s a lot more boldness. There’s a lot of pᴀssion and emotion,’ she stated.

The hitmaker went on to state that the show’s contestants were becoming more and more dynamic in their performing abilities.

She said: ‘They’re playing instruments. They’re writing their own songs. I don’t know if we’re seeing that more on “Idol” because we’re more drawn to it. But people watch and go, “Oh, this isn’t a karaoke show.”‘

Perry also spoke about the similarity in how singers from American Idol and platforms like TikTok often skyrocketed to fame after gaining traction with followers.

‘It remains to be seen if those artists… are going to be able to have long, worldwide careers,’ she said.

She added: ‘I think, to combine both of those worlds, you’re going to have the most opportunity to stand out because you have to really light yourself on fire these days.’

The twentieth season of American Idol premiered this past February and is currently airing.
