Come Dine With Me winner Garry Macdonald spilled the beans on his experience on the Channel 4 show – revealing he won despite ‘being drunk all week’.
The reality star, 35, took home the prize after impressing with his lavish Ibiza Beach Club themed menu – with his co-star Saoirse praising his delicious cauliflower steak.
Yet, Garry candidly admitted he wasn’t sure how he seasoned the tasty meal since he was already ‘two bottles of Prosecco deep in’ at that point.
‘You know what’s funny, so many people have asked me for the menu for it and the recipe for the cauliflower steak. But I was two bottles of Prosecco in and I don’t even remember how to make it,’ he told The Sun.
‘I was banging all these ingredients on the cauliflower and I remember the producer asking ‘Are you quite finished?’, and I said ‘I’m gonna see what else I’ve got in my cupboard.’
‘I just kind of created something with flavours that I have no idea – I would love to know myself how I made it, because so many people have asked me for the recipe and I can’t remember how to make it.’

Garry also discussed producers’ attempt to stop contestant from drinking, although it ended up being quite unsuccessful, admitting himself was ‘kind of drunk all week’.
The TV personality added most nights before starters – they would ‘all have a good drink’.
Garry gave an insightful look into the show’s behind-the-scenes drama, which saw frequent heated rows and one in particular which ended up with a co-star having a bloody nose.
He told how fish van owner Bernadette and project manager Lauren, which had a history of rivalry throughout the entire series, had an explosive argument on how to properly cook a sea bᴀss steak.
The catering manager from Glasgow added the atmosphere on his dinner party’s night was so tense ‘you could cut it with a knife’.
Things worsen when Garry was being interviewed in his kitchen until he saw a co-star bleeding from her nose, and another one crying – stressing people don’t see this side of the show.
Despite the heated drama, Garry managed to create a wonderful dinner party and dedicated his glorious win to his beloved sister Helen.
In January, Come Dine With Me returned to screens for its 20-year anniversary this week.
