The 32-year-old Capital FM presenter is no stranger to being on the TV, and has a bit of a history with quiz shows.
He appeared on Million Pound Drop with his Spandau Ballet singer father back in 2012.
Roman is now hosting BBC’s The Finish Line with Sarah Greene, and briefly spoke about one experience in particular that he seemingly wants to forget about.
The radio star says the moment in question has shaped his approach to hosting ever since.
‘I once lost my dad a million pounds on Million Pound Drop,’ he told New! magazine.

Ahead of the new series of the new quiz show, which airs on March 13, Roman also shared how he was ‘moved’ by one contestant’s story.
He spoke of the contestant who wanted to ‘win money for his dad’ as he didn’t think he’d be around for much longer.
The subject touched Roman close to the heart, with him confessing ‘you can’t help but root’ for someone like that.

On an episode of ITV’s This Morning, he shared: ‘My dad always goes, “No that’s not true!” It is. There’s been a few girls in the past that said, “Oh my god, I’ve just seen your dad walk past in a towel!”‘
The pair have also been very open about how they ‘tell each over everything’ in previous interviews.
During an appearance on Saturday Kitchen last summer, Roman told host Matt Tebʙuтт: ‘If you have seen us on Gogglebox, you will see my dad tells me more than I probably should hear.’
Taking things one step further, Martin then revealed: ‘I say things to Ro that fathers should never say to their son.’
He then added: ‘We have lost the parenting bit now, we just go for the blurred line.’
Roman’s new game show comes just months after it was revealed he wouldn’t be hosting the BRIT Awards this year.
The awards ceremony took place on Saturday night at a glitzy bash in London, but comedian Jack Whitehall took to the stage to host.
Roman showed there was no love lost over the gig as he expressed support for Jack’s return by commenting: ‘Return of the King.’
