Lady Gaga was spotted rocking an eye-catching plaid look as she left her H๏τel and made her way to another day of Saturday Night Live rehearsals in New York City.

The Shallow hitmaker, 38, showcased her unique style on Wednesday, wearing a long plaid black and white coat with matching fuzzy boots.

The New York native completed her outfit with a black hat, and shielded her eyes with a pair of black sunglᴀsses.

Her raven tresses were styled into a chic bob with blunt bangs.

Earlier in the day, the star — who will be releasing her new album on Friday — was featured in a promo clip for the upcoming March 8 SNL episode, where she will be hosting and performing as the show’s musical guest.

In the clip, the singer was pictured rocking a pair of eyeglᴀsses and a hat while sitting down at a piano inside the SNL offices and roasting the cast members with an improvised song.

Andrew Dismukes is the first one to be mentioned in the song, as Gaga pokes fun of him for ordering a breakfast sandwich ‘at 2:00 PM.’ 

‘I’m sorry, what is she doing?’ he asks, before being told that this is her ‘process.’

Devon Walker is the next one to be made fun of, as Gaga sings that he is ‘taking a big swing’ with a new cowboy-style hat.

It’s then that a sleepy Heidi Gardner emerges in her pajamas from a dressing room.

Gaga sings that Gardner is ‘trying to pretend she isn’t sleeping here. But we all know she is, yeah.’

‘You all know I’m sleeping here?’ Gardner asks.

‘Yeah, we do. It’s sad,’ the cast replies.

‘And the question is why?’ Gaga continues, to which Heidi replies singing, ‘And the answer is bed bugs.’

‘She has bad bugs!’ Gaga exclaims for good measure.

‘Good night!’ Heidi responds before leaving.

Gaga has previously hosted SNL once and performed as the musical guest four times. 

The night prior, Gaga was seen grabbing dinner at Lattanzi Italian restaurant with her fiancé Michael Polansky, 41.

Just one day before her upcoming SNL stint, the star will be releasing her highly-anticipated eighth studio album, тιтled Mayhem. 

In a new interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Gaga discussed how she wrote over 50 songs for Mayhem and why she still ‘loves’ being Lady Gaga.

‘Something I want my fans to know now, which is why I said I love being Lady Gaga, is I actually returned back to my artistry recently in a huge way of making this album. I put so much of myself as a musician, as a producer, as a songwriter into everything. And that is who Lady Gaga is to me. Maybe to someone else it might be the meat dress or something that I did that they remember as me. But for me, I always want to be remembered for being a real artist and someone that cares so much about a life of art,’ she shared.

When asked about how many songs she wrote, she shared, ‘I mean, probably 50. So much music and we didn’t use it all, but it’s my favorite record in a long time. I feel like it has some teeth.’

She also spoke about her relationship with Michael, and how his unorthodox proposal inspired song on the new album.

‘I just got much healthier. I have good people in my life. I fell in love with Michael. As a songwriter you need life to inspire your writing and if everything is promotion, then I’ll write about promotion and I won’t write about that special moment I shared with you where Michael asked me how I would want him to propose to me one day.’

‘We were in our backyard and I said, “Just take a blade of grᴀss and wrap it around my finger” and then I wrote “Blade of Grᴀss” because I remembered the way his face looked and I remembered the grᴀss in the backyard and I remember thinking he should use that really long grᴀss that’s in the center of the backyard.’

She also spoke about how her fiancé Michael Polansky’s, 41, unorthodox proposal inspired the song Blade Of Grᴀss on the new album; they are seen in February

Michael ultimately proposed last year on April Fool’s Day, with a blade of grᴀss as Gaga requested – though because of the date she initially ᴀssumed he was joking.

In addition to the grᴀss ring, Michael also presented his bride-to-be with a mᴀssive eight-carat oval-cut diamond sparkler she has flaunted in the months since.

Their engagement went public that July when Gaga introduced Michael as ‘my fiancé’ to France’s prime minister at the time, Gabriel Attal.

Gaga was in Paris to perform at the Olympics, where she recreated cabaret legend Zizi Jeanmaire’s racy number Mon truc en plumes (My Thing In Feathers).

in her new interview, Gaga showered praise on Michael, saying that he helped dispel the feelings of loneliness that she had previously harbored.

‘My home used to only be the stage,’ she said. ‘It was so lonely, and also, it is so much more fun to take somebody up there with you, someone that loves you, that knows what you’re capable in all the various aspects of life.’

She touchingly shared: ‘I think that there’s nothing that can bring a tear to my eye I think more on a daily basis than knowing that I mean also so much to somebody in a way that isn’t about what I’m doing onstage, or my song, or what I’m wearing.’

Gaga dished: ‘He’s so grateful if I make him a double decaf espresso over ice, ’cause that’s his favorite, and that’s a huge part of who I am, and mattering to somebody just for being me, a girl, that means a lot.’

The star, pictured in a still from her Abracadabra music video, will release her eighth studio album, featuring the single, on Friday 

Another plus side of her relationship is that Michael understands her life as a pop star, including the pressures and rigors she has to undergo.

‘But also to be embraced also – in that he will say to me: “The thing you have to do, to get yourself ready to do that, is so intense.” He just wants me to be okay, and he wants to – he’s my real friend,’ Gaga said glowingly.

Michael is also involved hands-on in Gaga’s musical career, helping her pen seven of the songs that fans will be able to hear on Mayhem.

Mayhem marks Gaga’s first original full-length pop album since 2020’s Chromatica.

The tracklist for the album includes singles ‘Disease,’ ‘Abracadabra’ and her Bruno Mars collaboration ‘Die With a Smile.’

On Monday, Gaga also announced she will be performing a show in Mexico on April 26, marking her first concert in the country in 13 years.
