Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett were pictured working on their upcoming film Is This Thing On? during a night shoot in New York City on Tuesday.
The actor, who was sporting a full and bushy beard, was seen holding a camera as he makes his debut as a camera operator on he project.
Bradley is also directing the movie and in between takes was seen giving notes to Will, who stars as a character called Alex who is battling with a crumbling marriage.
The Maestro star opted for a far more rugged look than he has previously worn, with his facial hair and long hair tied up in a top knot.
He kept comfortable in a black hooded jacket with an Italia badge, teamed with a pair of black trousers and chunky platform trainers.
At points, Bradley took a break on some steps while Will was pictured tucking into his dinner during while paused filming.

Nine-time Oscar nominee Bradley will direct the Searchlight film which was written by its leading man, Will, and Mark Chappell.
Other actors attached to the film include Sean Hayes, Andra Day Laura Dern. Bradley will play a supporting role.
The film follows Will’s character Alex as he faces and an impending divorce from his wife Tess (Laura Dern).
As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex seeks new purpose in the New York comedy scene while Tess confronts the sacrifices she made for their family.
Their decisions force them to navigate co-parenting, idenтιтy, and whether love can take a new form.
Bradley previewed the project last month while appearing on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show.
He said: ‘Filmmaking truly, honestly, is very similar to sports — team sports. It’s very, very similar to football in particular. If one of the 11 messes up, the whole thing’s screwing up. Same thing in a movie set.’
‘Anybody that’s ever made a movie knows that the camera operator and the dolly grip and the sound mixer and the first AD, these are key positions that are as important as the actors or anybody else.’

Bradley previously revealed that the multi-hyphenate was adding another skill to his resume as a camera operator on the project.
He signed up to act in, direct, produce, and serve as B camera operator for the upcoming comedy.
He wrote the script with fellow funnyman Will Arnett, who will also be the leading man.
Bradley said on the podcast. ‘I just joined the union. I’ll operate the camera, which I’m very excited about because we did some stuff.
‘We went down to Chinatown and yeah, it’s been amazing. We start in two weeks, so it’s kind of crazy.’
