Fearne Cotton shocked fans by announcing her split from husband Jesse Wood at the end of last year.

She was then seen pᴀssionately kissing Rivals director Elliot Hegarty on a night out in party district Soho last week.

But could this be a sign that the broadcaster, 43, is dipping her toe back into the world of partying after cultivating her yoga-wellness-bookworm image?

The mother-of-two recently spoke about wanting to have a ‘burst of fun’ and ‘go and get p***ed’ following the end of her marriage.

And just days after the shock announcement, she was seen enjoying a night out with fellow podcasters Elizabeth Day and Jamie Laing.

She also kicked off the New Year with cocktails rather than her famous book club, as she donned a glitzy dress and toasted to 2025.

Fearne was pH๏τographed locking lips with TV director, 53, during a fun night out with friends on Thursday.

The pair looked in great spirits as they embraced and walked hand-in-hand down Charlotte Street in Soho, just 11 weeks after she confirmed her separation from Jesse, son of Rolling Stone legend Ronnie Wood.

Elliot split from his wife Laura, 51, on Boxing Day. They previously lived together in a stylish home in north London with their three children.

And her Soho night out comes amid a string of partying for the star, who was once renowned for her wild child ways. 

It’s a far cry from her wellness era image of recent years, which saw her launch her Happy Place podcast in 2018, a hugely popular book club and become well versed in the world of yoga, regularly showing off her impressive poses.

But post-split she appears to be set on rejoining the party scene, after sharing a pH๏τo from New Year’s Eve where she looked incredibly glamorous in a dazzling sequin dress and posed with a cocktail in hand. 

And earlier that month, Fearne had enjoyed an evening out with podcasting pals Elizabeth and Jamie. 

Letting her hair down, Fearne posed for a selfie with the duo, which she posted on her Instagram story alongside the caption: ‘Quite literally…How To…have…Great Company.’

Fearne opened up about her post-split mindset on an episode of her Happy Place podcast with comedian Joanne McNally in December – as she revealed her desire to make a night life return.

After Joanne revealed she went from relying on her friends to have a good time to suddenly feeling ‘hyper independent’, Fearne shared her own take.  

She confessed: ‘I’m having a little weird um burst of fun. I don’t know why, it’s come out of nowhere. It’s like, oh I just want to go and get a bit p***ed and have some fun.

‘I’m coming out of it a bit I think it’s all phases but I I totally understand that sort of hyper independence.

‘I think I’ve had that for so long maybe because I started work young.’

Fearne continued: ‘Sometimes I don’t trust that people are going to do what I need or support me in the right way.

‘So I’m like “no I’m doing everything on my own” which is not great but I but I know I can rely on myself. 

‘So I sort of stick to that and I know that that’s not great but it’s just a coping mechanism I guess.’
