This Morning’s Eva Speakman looked glamorous as she joined her husband Nik to celebrating 75 years of Variety, The Children’s Charity, in London on Tuesday. 

The TV personality, 55, was recently forced to hit back at a troll, who rudely claimed Nik, 63, should ‘stop with the filler’, which she insisted was due to steroids.

Together they are collectively known as The Speakmans, are life-change experts who help others with mental health problems, trauma and phobias.

Stepping out to Soho House H๏τel after defending her husband, Eva wore a blue satin dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline. 

She teamed it with a pair of strappy heels, opted for a silver eyeshadow and styled her hair straight. 

Nik looked smart in a pinstriped blazer which he paired with a black shirt and trousers.

Last month, Eva defended Nik’s changing face after cruel trolls criticised his new appearance, saying it was due to steroids.

After they posted a slew of snaps on Instagram last week, the harsh troll wrote in the comments: ‘Nice couple but tell your husband to stop with the filler’.

Eva hit back: ‘Please don’t be judgemental. He’s on steroids and can’t help the effect.’

The caption read: ‘A lovely start to this week on @thismorning helping to brighten up your Blue Monday. We hope everyone’s had a fabulous week, and is looking forward to a fun weekend ahead ☺️’ 

Defending Eva and Nik following the troll’s disgusting message, fans wrote: ‘Disgusting comment. Do better he is clearly on steroids. I’ve had the same happen when I was on them’,

‘People can be cruel I am on steroids so I know the feeling when people judge’,

‘Clearly a steroid side effect, my mum had exactly the same. Such a mean comment to make’,

‘Why do some people constantly have to be rude and judgmental. Great show, great people who give great advice ❤️’.

Last year, Eva detailed the difficulties she faced at the hands of trolls when she and husband Nik became regular faces on This Morning. 

Speaking on the My Dirty Laundry podcast, Eva revealed she was attacked by cruel trolls when she appeared on the show. 

It was especially hurtful because Eva had suffered a lifetime of bullying before becoming a household name. 

She said: ‘We have really had our fair share of trolling and at first, I’m not going to lie… particularly when we first started working in television, I found it quite difficult.

‘I was somebody that was bullied through my entire childhood, even up until I met Nik, actually. 

‘And so I’d gone from that and then Nik kind of came rescued me, helped me to build up my self-esteem again and self-belief.

‘Then suddenly these strangers were saying really mean and horrible things. And so I did have to sit back a little bit and say, “Does this really matter? Is this person’s opinion really valid? What’s my motive on being in the media?” It’s to help people. Am I doing that? Yes.’
