The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Monica Garcia announced Tuesday that she’s pregnant with her fifth child – 11 months after suffering a miscarriage that she called her ‘lowest point with being in the public eye.’
At 40, the Brea Baby founder is a decade older than her boyfriend Braxton Knight, and they’re due to welcome their first child as a couple next month.
Monica first told the Wasatch Excursions general manager the baby news while they visited Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
‘[My best friend] Koa had picked out the infant ears hat at the Mad Hatter and had “Aries Baby” embroidered on them while I distracted Braxton with churros and getting my cotton candy,’ Garcia recalled to People.
‘I told him while we were on Peter Pan, flying over NeverLand.’
The excommunicated ex-Mormon – who’s ‘so sick’ with nausea – is asking fans for baby name suggestions, but she and Braxton plan on keeping the gender a surprise.

‘God has been there for me every single step of the way,’ Monica said.
‘I have been so blessed and been silent about all of it. I just hope someone reads this and it resonates with them on some level. Reminds them that no matter what people do to you, say about you, or try to take from you, they can never take what God has for you.’
Knight was reportedly dating another woman when he first met Garcia in April 2023 while filming the fourth season of RHOSLC.

The Bravo-lebrity has sole legal and physical custody of her four daughters – Bri, 19; Jaidyn, 14; West, 8; and Kendall, 7 – from her on/off decade-long marriage to Mike Fowler, which ended in 2023 amid domestic violence allegations.
Monica reportedly receives $2,636/month in child support and $4K/month in alimony from her 46-year-old ex.
Garcia recently narrated the second season of E! reality compeтιтion House of Villains as the voice of EVA (Evil Voice Audio 2.0), the robot announcing challenges and game events to the contestants.
The Portuguese-Colombian beauty was fired off RHOSLC after only 20 episodes when her castmates refused to film scenes with her after discovering she was behind a social media troll account that ‘was around to destroy her co-stars.’
‘It was difficult coming off such a tumultuous whirlwind with RHOSLC and all the love and hate I received from all of that. Old friends turned on me, I was iced out by the cast, I lost my job, my relationship with my mother has never recovered, my world was crumbling. Then I had an unexpected pregnancy and miscarriage at 40,’ Monica said.
‘The entire time I was going through all of that, the world chose to spit on me and continue to kick me while I was down. The accusations of me lying about a pregnancy and miscarriage that I received daily while dealing with such an unexpected loss was a pain that I will never forget. I was losing a baby while being shredded apart by some of the most awful comments I’ve ever had said to and about me.’
