BRIT Award winners CANCEL UK tour after horror injury leaving fans devastated

BRIT Award winners have been left devastated after they were forced to cancel their UK tour on Tuesday.

Flo were set to head out on tour around the country and across Europe but have had to postpone the dates after one member of the band suffered a horror injury.

The R&B group had been preparing to hit the road to support their debut album, Access All Areas, which stormed the UK charts last year.

The trio, which is made up of Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer, revealed the tour is on hold after sharing an update on Instagram.

They wrote: ‘It absolutely breaks our hearts that we are going to have to reschedule our UK and European tour.

‘Towards the end of our rehearsals, Renee damaged ligaments in her knee, and whilst alongside our team we have tried our best to find a solution, we just aren’t able to give you the show we want at this time and a tour that you deserve.’

They continued: ‘We are so sad and sorry that we won’t be seeing you over the next few weeks but we are working on rescheduling these shows ASAP, so please hold onto your tickets as these will be valid for the new date.’

Giving up update on Renee’s injury, the band added: ‘Renee will be recovered in time for the US dates, so they will go ahead as planned.

‘UK and Europe, we love you and absolutely can’t wait to see you all very soon.’

The band had been scheduled to play in Birmingham, London, Manchester and Glasgow but these shows are now all on hold.

Flo were set to start their tour on Wednesday, March 5 in Hamburg, Germany before jetting to the Netherlands, France and the UK.

Their 27 shows across North America in April and May remain unaffected.

Fans quickly took to the comments to wish Renee a ‘speedy recovery’ while others said they were gutted by the cancelled shows.

They wrote: ‘I was going to the Glasgow show ohh lord. I had booked a H๏τel and all. Cancelling everything now; Is there going to be a refund option in case we can’t go to the new dates?????
