David Beckham and his daughter Harper tried their luck at flipping pancakes while Amanda Holden showed off her skills as they led the Shrove Tuesday celebrations.
The former footballer, 49, took to Instagram to share a sweet video of himself and Harper, 13, larking around in the kitchen on Pancake Day.
In the footage, Harper filmed while David beamed from ear-to-ear, looking like he was having the time of his life as he flipped pancakes in the kitchen.
She asked him: ‘Daddy what are you doing?’ to which he delightedly replied: ‘It’s Pancake Day!’
He then flipped the crepe but it landed folded back into the pan, with Harper asking: ‘Did you ruin my pancake?’
In indignation, David replied: ‘Ruin it?! It’s perfect.’

Amanda Holden also got involved in an amusing skit as she whipped up some pancakes with some help during her shift at Heart Breakfast
The doting father also shared a video of Harper trying her luck at flipping pancakes, but she had an unfortunate gaffe when she dropped it straight on the floor.
David joked in a caption: ‘Boys Harper made you a pancake,’ referring to her brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20.
He also told how his wife Victoria, 50, and his eldest son Brooklyn, 26, who lives in the United States, ‘missed out’ on the fun celebrations.
Pancake Day also coincided with Brooklyn’s birthday and he took to Instagram to send well wishes to his son on the special day.
He shared an array of throwback pH๏τographs of Brooklyn as a child and gushed over him in a caption.
Elsewhere on Shrove Tuesday, Amanda, 54, also shared a video of herself whipping up some pancakes during her morning shift at Heart Breakfast.
However, the video had an amusing twist as though it seemed like she was making the pancakes herself, she was simply narrating while someone else’s arms worked.
In the amusing clip, Amanda talked through the recipe while someone else stood behind her, blindly reaching for the ingredients by putting their arms in place of hers.
The result was unsurprisingly a rather messy pancake batter and left the Heart studio in complete sтιтches.
