Macaulay Culkin had a emotional reaction to his little brother Kieran winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor Sunday night.
‘I cried,’ the Home Alone star, 44, told red carpet correspondent Tan France as he headed into the Vanity Fair party with his fiancée Brenda Song, 36.
In his emotional speech, Kieran, 42, forgot to mention his famous brother, but that didn’t see to bother Mac.
The Changeland star said he turned off the TV after watching his brother’s acceptance speech.
‘Just Best Supporting Actor, that’s the only thing I watched. True story, true story,’ the Intergalactic voice actor said. ‘And I was like, “I’m gonna see you later.”‘
When asked if he and Song expected Kieran, who had already earned a Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award, BAFTA and SAG awards for his portrayal of an emotionally troubled young man traveling with his cousin to see their grandmother’s former home in Poland, the supportive pair said the had no doubts.

Asked whether the brothers planned to meet up, The Righteous Gemstones actor replied, I don’t know, he’s a busy man! He’s Academy Award-winning actor Kieran Culkin!’
Kieran was indeed very busy, attending the Governor’s Ball with his wife. The couple then headed off to celebrate with his A Real Pain team, including writer and director Jesse Eisenberg and producer Emma Stone at the Searchlight Pictures’ party.
