Jessica Biel is giving Oscars 2025 a hard pᴀss this year—just days after catching heat for gushing over her husband Justin Timberlake’s tour, despite his last-minute concert cancellation on Thursday.
The 7th Heaven alum, 42, marked Oscars Sunday with a dazzling throwback snap on Instagram, flaunting the stunning gown she wore for the 2024 ceremony.
Dripping in old-school Hollywood glamour, Biel looked flawless in a Stéphane Rolland creation from the designer’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
In her caption, she subtly hinted that work, not the Academy, had claimed her evening.
‘Last year: red carpet. This year: 5 AM call time,’ she wrote, suggesting her latest projects were keeping her booked and busy.
Her Oscars snub follows online backlash after she praised her husband on social media, frustrating fans still upset over his last-minute concert cancellation due to the flu.

‘There’s truly nothing this man can’t do,’ she gushed in an Instagram post, pairing the sentiment with a slick tour montage set to Pusher Love Girl.
‘It’s been so special to watch you, listen to you, and be alongside you for this tour,’ she continued. ‘One last show tonight, give it all you’ve got. I am the proudest.’

The post came just hours before Timberlake, 44, announced he was canceling his final show in Columbus, Ohio, leaving ticketholders fuming.
‘You guys, I’m heartbroken, I have to cancel the show tonight,’ the 10-time Grammy winner said Thursday in a statement on Instagram, just four months after he canceled his October 23 concert at the same venue amid a bout with laryngitis and bronchitis.
The SєxyBack singer added, ‘I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it’s gotten the best of me. It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen.
‘I want to reᴀssure you, you’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all,’ he concluded.

But fuming fans took to Biel’s Instagram to vent about the canceled show.
‘Apparently can’t perform in Columbus because he has now cancelled twice… Taylor Swift toured for three years and only cancelled once for a terrorist plot…’ one user snarked.
‘He canceled his last show. This post didn’t age well. Poor guy has the flu real bad,’ wrote another.
A number of fans were critical of the singer for waiting so late to call off the show, with one saying, ‘Canceling [because] of being sick is 100 percent understandable…
‘Canceling 10 minutes before the doors were to open is unacceptable.’
Another added: ‘The show was canceled at 7.30pm and the show was supposed to start at 8pm, I’m sorry if you have the flu you would’ve know before one or two hours before the show starts. There were little kids standing in line that was devastated that you canceled. Shame on you.’
Another fan asked, ‘Could you have told fans sooner than 12 minutes before the show starts?’
Other fans noted the mᴀssive expenditures they had to make to see Timberlake live, only for the show to be scuttled at the last minute, calling his actions ‘unacceptable.’

The pop veteran is slated to perform at a number of festivals overseas for more than 20 shows over a four-month span, commencing on March 25 at Lollapalooza Argentina 2025 at the Hipodromo De San Isidro.
Timberlake wraps up that leg of his tour with a July 20 show in Paris at Hippodrome Paris Longchamp.
The stumble for the What Goes Around… Comes Around vocalist comes after years in which he had maintained a strong image with the public while weathering a number of scandals that might have sunk the career of a less-beloved celeb.
The most recent of which was a June 18 driving while intoxicated (DWI) arrest in Sag Harbor, New York in which he told the arresting officer, ‘This is gonna screw up the tour.’
