Adam DeVine’s Los Angeles home was the subject of a police search after a security alarm went off at the property.

The actor, 41, and his wife, Chloe Bridges, 33, and son, Beau, whom the couple welcomed last February, were not at home. 

Unfortunately, one of the officers who responded to the alarm at shortly after 2pm on Monday, February 24, ‘tripped and fell down an embankment,’ according to documents obtained by TMZ.

The officer was able to walk away after the 20 foot tumble, but was later treated for a broken wrist. 

Officers reported a thorough search of the property found nothing amiss.

It’s unknown how long DeVine and Bridges have owned the property.

The couple met in 2014 when working on The Final Girls and began dating sometime in 2015.

In 2019, they announced they were engaged and tied the knot two years later in a romantic seaside ceremony in Cabo San Lucas after the Covid-19 pandemic scratched their previous plans.

DeVine admitted last year to putting on nearly 30 pounds of sympathy weight during Bridges’ pregnancy. 

He has since been losing it slowly with the help of the MyFitnessPal app, he told People. 

‘I usually eat pretty healthy, or at least I think I’m eating healthy, but I was just eating too much of it,’ he told the outlet. 

‘So it helps with having the knowledge of what you’re putting in your body.’ He has since paid partner with the company.  

DeVine has been busy working on a variety of projects, including the upcoming animated comedy Fixed, about a dog enjoying one last day of freedom before being sterilized at the vet’s office. 

He’ll share the mic with Idris Elba and Kathryn Hahn in the adult story.
