The BRIT Awards host Jack Whitehall caused controversy by making a series of savage digs directed at the A-list guests on Saturday night.
But as well as his brutal jibes, the comedian, 36, also suffered a very awkward moment with Jade Thirlwall as he referenced former best pals and This Morning co-stars Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Phil, 62, stepped down from the ITV show last May following an ‘unwise’ affair with a junior colleague.
Jack sat down next to the singer, 32, who won Best Pop Act earlier in the night, and began chatting to her about the potenital of a Little Mix reunion.
The presenter quipped: ‘You know I’m a big Mixer and I have to ask. Little Mix – the official line is you’re currently on a hiatus, focusing on solo projects.
‘When we say on a hiatus focusing on solo projects, do we mean in more of a Phil and Kirsty way or a Phil and Holly way?’

Taken aback and looking slightly uncomfortable, Jade mumbled: ‘Ooh, er, well erm I think in more of a Five way. They’ve just got back together haven’t they.’
‘It could happen in the future, Little Mix reforming?,’ Jack questioned, to which the hitmaker responded: ‘Absolutely!,’ which earned a cheer from the crowd.
However, it got even more awkward when Jack decided to talk about how Jade’s image has changed since becoming a solo artist and stepping away from Little Mix.
He proceeded to pull up her merch website and discuss some of her X-rated merch – including ʙuтт plugs and lube.
But Jack failed to realise that he was also sat next to Jade’s mother, who looked mortified by the topic of conversation.
And it seems Jade wasn’t too pleased with the jokes either as the tone turned slightly sour before she joked that Jack must have bought one of the ʙuтт plugs.
Jack said: ‘I want to talk though about this kind of you image you have now that you’re a solo artist, it’s all a little bit racier. In fact, I went on Jade’s website, basically, ladies and gentlemen, as I often do, I clicked on the merchandise store.
‘She knows where this is going. Some of the items that are available to purchase on Jade’s website, merchandise like edible underwear. Lubricant… I’m not making this up. It’s certainly one way to ensure a standing ovation at your gigs.’
After joking that he was wearing a ʙuтт plug, he quickly realised his mistake and added: ‘I’ve just noticed that’s your mum… I’m so sorry, Norma.

It comes after Jade thrilled fans as she scored her first BRIT Award as a solo artist at the 2025 ceremony, held at London’s O2 Arena.
The former Little Mix star won for Best Pop Act, and quickly went viral for her chaotic acceptance speech, which saw her struggling to climb the stairs to the stage and hiding her speech in the front of her dress.
The award was presented by Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy of the Sugababes, with Jade winning over Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Lola Young and Myles Smith.
As her name was read out, the singer gasped in shock and excitedly made her way to the stage, but was hampered by the huge train and skirt of her denim wedding dress.
She struggled to climb the stairs onto the stage and needed a helping hand from the Sugababes after becoming stuck.
Beginning her acceptance speech, Jade proceeded to reach into her dress and pull out a folded piece of paper from her cleavage.
She explained: ‘Oh my God! This is my first solo BRIT Award! I can’t cry because I’ve got to sing later, but I did do a little piece of paper in case I won the award. I know it’s cringe but I knew I’d forget people. I’m flustered.’
She went on to thank her fans and loved ones for helping her get so far, saying: ‘I need to thank the fans because that’s why I’ve won.

Jade then paid a sweet tribute to her former Little Mix bandmates, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, saying they ‘changed her life’
‘Thank you for supporting me and relentlessly forcing everyone around you to vote for me, I really appreciate it.
‘I want to thank my fabulous team around me, because it really does take a determined village to make a good pop act.
‘My partner Jordan, my mum, dad, my brother and all my family and friends for always believing in me.
‘Thank you for making me thing it was a realistic goal to be a pop star ever since I was a little girl.’

Becoming emotional, she gushed: ‘And finally my Little Mix sisters, I love you so much. I wouldn’t have this award without them. They changed my life and I am so grateful.’
She once again had to rely on the Sugababes to make her way down for the stage and prepare for her electrifying performance of Angel of My Dreams later in the night.
