Taylor Momsen tried to keep a low profile on Saturday as she strolled through New York City just days after the death of her Gossip Girl costar Michelle Trachtenberg.
Momsen, 31, who is part of the rock band The Pretty Reckless, was seen strolling through the Soho area wearing a large black leather jacket over a black hoodie and knee-length shorts.
The Got So High singer wore black ankle boots with thick black soles
Her shoulder length blonde locks were brushed straight and pulled away from her face with bobby pins.
She wore large dark sunglᴀsses and a black medical mask.
Momsen and The Pretty Reckless have been preparing to go on tour in April as the opening act for AC/DC.

The rockers are kicking off their PWR/UP tour in Minneapolis on April 10 and will cross-cross North America through the end of May.
They will then head to Europe in late June, remaining there through late August.

Following news of her longtime friend’s death on Wednesday, the actress turned singer posted an emotional tribute to Trachtenberg, who worked with her on the hit series Gossip Girl.
‘In shock…When I met this girl 17 years ago I knew we’d be friends.. she was smart and sᴀssy, bold and sensitive, funny as f**k and filled with fire. She was simply awesome,’ the Spy School actress wrote next to a carousel of pH๏τos.
‘I’ll miss our late night calls that no one should ever hear but us. She was always in my corner and there to support me whether I was right or wrong. I will miss you everyday my love.. I think we truly understood each other and I am so grateful to have had a friend like you in my life for so long.’
Continuing her tribute, she wrote of Trachtenberg, ‘You were a true friend to me which is a rarity in this world and I can’t believe I won’t hear your voice again..’
‘I love you so much Michelle, my heart is on the floor. I’m still in shock but I needed to honor her, she deserves more than this.’
‘I grieve with all her fans around the world, and my heart is with her family and loved ones. I have so much to say, but she’s the only one I’d want to say it to, my love to you all xxt.’
