She won over a legion of fans with her brutally honest account of being grounded for trying to charter a helicopter from New York to Maryland on her father’s credit card.

Now, Sofia Coppola’s daughter Romy Mars has whipped up another TikTok frenzy as she casually dished out her feelings about fellow nepo baby Alabama Barker, 19.

The 18-year-old sat down with a plate of food to record a one-minute video in which she voiced her confusion over Alabama’s glamorous appearance, claiming Travis Barker’s daughter looks like she’s heading to the Met Gala two or three times a day.

‘Genuine question, what the f**k is Alabama Barker getting ready for? It’s like the Met Gala twice a day, three times a day with this girl,’ she said.

‘She has like a whole team of people doing hair with all these different waves, make-up that takes hours and hours and hours, insane outfits. But it’s like multiple times a day. I don’t understand.’

Waving her fork in the air, she continued: ‘I understand every weekend if you’re going to a party but it’s just so constant. Even for a party… it’s like 15 people doing her hair and her make-up and her toe nails and her nails.’

Speaking about Travis Barker’s daughter, 19, she said: ‘I understand every weekend if you’re going to a party but it’s just so constant. Even for a party… it’s like 15 people doing her hair and her make up and her toe nails and her nails’

Forking a mouthful of food into her mouth, she finished: ‘I don’t get it. I don’t get it.’

‘I’ve been waiting for somebody to talk about this,’ wrote one person on Reddit alongside the video which has since been deleted from Romy’s account.

‘She’s saying what most people are thinking,’ wrote one user, while another added: ‘So funny she decided to make a vid talking about this.’

‘Hahaaaaa she’s actually kinda funny,’ posted a third.

Others branded Romy ‘iconic’ and declared she was a ‘slightly less detached nepo baby.’

Some even praised her apparent top tier trolling, with Romy sat wearing a pair of navy pyjamas with a white trim which bore a striking resemblance to a pair worn by Alabama in a video she posted last year while getting ready with her glam squad.

‘Love that she was wore THE pajama set to record this lol,’ one user posted.

Her social media feeds are packed with videos and pictures of her posing in lingerie and racy outfits with a full face of make-up, including heavily lined lips, long eye lash extensions and voluminous hair.

She frequently shares videos of herself getting ready, including clips of her styling her wigs and undergoing beauty treatments.

The posts are in stark contrast to Romy’s feeds which feature her performing, posing with her sister or hanging out with her school friends, usually with minimal make-up on. 

Her latest video comes nearly two years after she went viral with a hilarious TikTok post in which she revealed that she was grounded for trying to charter a helicopter on her father’s credit card.

‘Make vodka sauce pasta with me because I’m grounded because I tried to charter a helicopter from New York to Maryland on my dad’s credit card because I wanted to have dinner with my camp friend,’ she said in the clip which was filmed in her parents’ kitchen.

She said she decided to make the cooking video, despite claiming not to know the difference between a garlic and an onion, because she was ‘already grounded because my parents’ biggest rule is I’m not allowed to have any public social media accounts.’

Reflecting on her daughter’s video in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sofia admitted that her child had known it was the ‘best way’ to anger her parents.

The Marie Antoinette filmmaker said: ‘We were raised to be so private and social media is so opposite of how I grew up. So, it was the best way for her to be rebellious.’

Sofia claimed her daughter’s TikTok revealed to her that the family talent of storytelling and filmmaking had manifested in the next generation.

She continued: ‘I got a lot of compliments on her filmmaking. And comedy. She’s funny. But people discussing my parenting publicly is not what I would’ve hoped for.’

But Romy, who grew up in New York’s trendy West Village, has followed in the footsteps of her musical father, and last year released singles Stuck Up and From a Distance produced by indie pop artist Claud and Mikey Hart – who has worked with Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey.

It came as she quietly made her debut at Cannes Film Festival thanks to a small role in her grandfather’s movie, Megalopolis.

Meanwhile, Alabama – the step-daughter of Kourtney Kardashian – is an influencer and aspiring rap artist who has been embroiled in a series of back and fourth diss tracks with her former friend Bhad Bhabie.

The American rapper accused Alabama of getting with her child’s father, LeVaughn, behind her back last year.
