Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway was forced to interrupt the show just moments after going on-air due to an unexpected mishap.
During Friday’s instalment of the hit ITV breakfast show, Kate, 57, and her fellow presenter, Adil Ray, 50, returned to deliver the latest headlines.
However, viewers were in for a surprise as the familiar theme tune was notably absent, with their screens falling eerily silent just before the presenters came into view.
Swiftly addressing the mishap, Kate remarked: ‘Good Morning. We are a bit like a silent movie this morning due to technical issues with our music, but I’m sure we will get it sorted out.’
The problem seemed to have been quickly ironed out, however, as the usual jingle returned over the airwaves during the broadcast.
Earlier this week, the show sparked chaos among viewers when an unanticipated pregnancy announcement took the spotlight.

During Thursday’s instalment, showbiz correspondent Richard Arnold graced the screen with his segment featuring a special visitor.
Joined by Peppa Pig’s Mummy Pig in a first-time live interview, the beloved character took up the opportunity to announce she was expecting, stirring a buzz among the audience.
Kicking off the interview, Richard said: ‘My next guest is the matriarch of an entertainment dynasty that began with a TV show and moved into books, films and theme parks.’
He continued: ‘They’ve been a favourite of kids and parents alike for the last 21 years and now, I’d like to welcome in her first-ever interview someone we’re all excited to meet.’
Suddenly, Mummy Pig appeared on screen and enthused: ‘So I’m very excited to tell you all that I…’ before being interrupted by her eldest Peppa, who excitedly told her ‘mummy, mummy they’re showing you on TV, come and see!’
After the brief interlude, Mummy Pig was ready with her news.
‘I’m excited to share that our family is getting even bigger because we’re having another baby!’ she told a delighted Richard before the camera panned back to reveal her baby bump.
Mummy Pig also showed off her ultrasound as she revealed she was due in the summer.

As this unfolded, viewers at home quickly flocked to social media to express their disbelief and amusement.
One viewer wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Did I really just see Mummy Pig get interviewed about her pregnancy on #GMB, or have I really lost it?’;
‘Am I tripping? Why are they interviewing Peppa Pig?’; ‘This segment is bonkers.’; ‘Mummy pig is pregnant. Breaking News. On #GMB welcome the new porker.’
It comes shortly after Good Morning Britain viewers ripped into the ‘insufferable’ hosts and accused them of ‘trying to one-up each other’ with constant interruptions.
While hosting the show, they discussed the top headlines, including tension in the Middle East, Raneem’s Law and Britain’s Got Talent.
However, the presenter duo faced backlash from their audience, who were not impressed with the choice of hosts.
They claimed that the pair lacked chemistry and had a habit of talking over each other.
Some even penned on social media that they would be changing channels to watch the BBC instead.
One posted on X: ‘Thanks for the warning about Ray, BBC News it is then.’;

‘And again Kate overspeaks you @adilray! Why can’t she let anyone else speak #GMB’;
‘Adil “yep”. Kate. “Umm hmm.: Adil “exactly” Kate “yeah” It’s constant one-upmanship between the two as to who can be heard more. Insufferable. #GMB’
‘Oh no Adil presenting… have to watch BBC today.’;
‘During the press review, Kate Garraway introduced the topic of discussion & talked at length but when Adil Ray finally got the opportunity to quote something, she immediately talked over him.
‘Not the 1st time this has happened & it is just so unacceptably rude!’
