Josie Gibson stumbled on to This Morning using crutches and shared the details of her holiday injury which has left her in ‘excruciating pain’.
The TV host, 40, appeared on the ITV show live on Friday morning alongside host Alison Hammond, 50, with her foot in a brace.
‘You could not even make it up… I’ve had a holiday disaster,’ Josie revealed as she walked towards Alison.
She recently returned from a holiday to Dubai with her son Reggie, six, and told viewers how she was injured on the second day when a bathroom vanity fell on her, completely ‘ruining’ her trip.
‘It was the second day of the holiday, I have always wanted to take my little one to Dubai, went to Dubai for half term,’ she explained.
‘I was brushing my teeth when the vanity unit came down on my foot!’

Alison gasped and exclaimed: ‘You are joking,’ as Josie discussed details of the incident and how the cabinet had cracked ‘over her foot’.
‘I spent the whole holiday in bed with my leg in the air and in a wheelchair,’ she added.
The presenter also shared images of the bathroom vanity, which was broken into pieces on the floor after the shocking accident.
‘So it ruined your holiday really?’ Alison asked.
Josie admitted: ‘Oh, totally ruined my holiday and in a wheelchair I was with my six year old, can you imagine? I couldn’t even build a sand castle with him.’
She was diagnosed with a fracture in Dubai but when she returned home to the UK, was told by medics it was ‘soft tissue trauma’.
‘All I know is that when I stand up and the blood rushes to it, the pain is excruciating,’ Josie added.
In an attempt to cheer up the TV star, Alison presented Josie with a gold tᴀsselled and silver glitter mobility scooter with ‘Gibson’ written on the number plate.

Josie previously shared a worrying update when she uploaded an Instagram story from hospital on Wednesday, but didn’t reveal what had happened.
She posted a pH๏τo that showed a sign to the Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinics and a Trauma ᴀssessment Unit.
Without expanding, she simply wrote in the caption: ‘You couldn’t even make it up.’
Josie added Mazzy Star’s song Cry Cry over the top of the pH๏τo.
This Morning airs on ITV1 and ITVX weekdays from 10.30am to 12pm.
