On Wednesday, the legendary singer‑songwriter, 83, randomly posted the footage to his Instagram, which took MGK, 34, by surprise. 

‘Wtf,’ the My Ex’s Best Friend hitmaker captioned a screen of Dylan’s post to his Instagram Story. ‘This was not on my 2025 bingo card.’ 

He went on to share a video of himself raving about receiving a shout-out from the music icon at the same moment he was ‘questioning’ the direction of his latest album. 

Just as he was beginning to second guess his new music, Kelly said ‘in the same breath’ someone on his team alerted him that ‘Bob Dylan just posted a video of you.’

Initially, he brushed off what he was told as he thought to himself: ‘There must be another Bob Dylan. Whatever.’

‘We got to his Instagram, he did post a video. I’m like…Just the originator of doing everything opposite of what people wanted him to do, randomly posting a video of me back in the day rapping in a vinyl shop. I’m just like, “What the f**k?”‘ he told his fans.

MGK went on to say that he took it as a nudge from the universe to ‘trust the signs.’
