This Morning viewers have said that a segment on Thursday’s show was ‘wrong on so many levels’ as a mum of eight-year-old twin daughters defended their influencer careers.
Cody and Haven Garza, from Oklahoma, USA, appeared on the ITV programme alongside their mum Adrea to chat to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about their very successful social media platforms.
Adrea explained that it all started when the girls were babies, as she enjoyed dressing them up in cute outfits, and in lockdown she had to ‘find a new outlet to do that’ – so they started posting trends on TikTok, which ended up getting thousands of views.
As the girls got older, they asked their mum if they could get some moisturiser, and she researched some age appropriate products, and hasn’t looked back since.
Ben asked Haven how she felt about making the videos, and Haven replied: ‘I felt good making it because I was all famous.’
The youngsters get stopped out and about, and Haven explained: ‘It makes me feel good, I’m that influencer, and I’m just the one they look up to.’
