Kathryn Newton and Brandon Thomas Lee proved they were as close friends as ever as they stepped out at the Chateau Marmont on Wednesday night.

Kathryn and Brandon, both 28, have known each other since high school and have long been the subject of romance rumours but have firmly shut down the speculation, insisting they are just friends.

And they proved their friendship is still going strong as they attended the glitzy Vanity Fair and Instagram’s Celebrate Vanities: A Night for Young Hollywood event together.

Brandon, who is dating model Lily Easton, was every inch the gentleman as he gave Kathryn his arm while she stepped out of the venue in towering heels. 

Commanding attention, Big Little Lies star Kathryn put on a leggy display in a high double-slit leather dress that featured bulked straps and a plunging neckline. 

She gave herself a few extra inches in clear heels and toted her belongings in a small black leather handbag for the event, which honors the year’s top performances and rising artists.

Kathryn accessorised with a myriad of metal chained jewellery as she pulled out all the stops with her glamorous look.

Meanwhile, Brandon, who is the son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, looked handsome in a navy blue suit, which he paired with a yellow tie.

Brandon and Kathryn have been linked romantically as far back as 2019 but have previously denied dating rumours.

Over the years, the pair have been spotted out together, enjoying a string of meals out and daytime strolls, which led to speculation from fans.

Shutting down the theories, Brandon insisted they were ‘just friends’ in an interview with Us Weekly in 2019, and the pair have remained close friends ever since. 

They have reportedly known one another since high school and have always had a really close friendship.

Brandon has been dating model Lily Easton for more than three years and they have been seen looking very loved-up together.

The couple were last spotted in public together in May 2024, when they attended the Monse Maison Pre-Met Celebration in NYC.

And they proved their friendship is still going strong as they attended the glitzy Vanity Fair and Instagram’s Celebrate Vanities: A Night for Young Hollywood event together

Brandon started dating Lily in October 2021. The couple were last spotted in public together in May 2024, when they attended the Monse Maison Pre-Met Celebration in NYC

They also spent time with Brandon’s famous mother, Baywatch star Pamela, at the glitzy event as things seemed to be getting serious between the couple. 

They have kept their relationship relatively under wraps and out of the spotlight over the years.

Brandon was previously in a relationship with model Daniella Beckerman, who he appeared in The Hills with. 

He was also briefly linked to Bella Thorne and Kathryn Newton before he started dating Lily in October 2021.

Meanwhile, Kathryn has never been linked romantically over the years as she previously revealed that she has not been interested in dating fellow actors.
