BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood was left ‘shocked’ by her co-star Naga Munchetty’s comment to her live on air on Thursday.
The instalment of the morning show was presented by Naga, 50, and co-host Charlie Stayt, 62.
Early on in the episode, the pair – who host the show Thursday to Saturday – went over to Carol, 62, to hear about the weather.
The weather woman informed viewers to keep informed by downloading the broadcaster’s weather app.
Naga brutally replied back: ‘Or we could listen to you in half an hour…’
Carol replied: ‘You could, absolutely.’

The pair wanted to find out what going to happen on BBC’s Morning Live, so they went over to the studio to chat to Gethin Jones and Rav Wilding.
But the pair couldn’t hear them and carried out chatting with their guests.
Later on Gethin asked the BBC Breakfast presenters: ‘Did we get away with that guys?’
And Sarah replied: ‘Yeah, thanks for turning up guys.’
