Patsy Kensit has revealed she has conquered empty nest syndrome as her sons have now left home. 

The actress, 56, has two children, the first of which is son James, 31, whom she welcomed with her ex-husband Jim in 1993. 

She and ex-husband Liam Gallagher also share a son, Lennon, 25, who was born in 1999 and whose godmother is Elizabeth Hurley, whom Patsy starred alongside in Kill Cruise.

Speaking to Good Housekeeping, Patsy shared her positive feelings for the future after her children finally moved out. 

She said: ‘I have ʙuттerflies in my stomach just thinking about this year. I’ve really conquered empty nest syndrome – and of course, the minute I let the boys go, I couldn’t get rid of them! 

‘I have work to look forward to. I have these amazing, brilliant friends. Why would I not be happy?’

Patsy oozed sophistication as she posed in a quirky patterned blue shirt and trousers co-ord and heels.

On the front cover of Good Housekeeping UK, Patsy looked typically chic in a floral mini dress.

Elsewhere during the chat, Patsy spoke on her frustration at how women are defined by their relationships.

She explained: ‘It’s only frustrating because we live in a very chauvinistic world. I understand why people want to ask [about exes]. 

‘I met Jane Asher once. She’s a very accomplished actress and what did I ask about? Her relationship with Paul McCartney when she was young. I was an idiot! You know, people think you’re made of Teflon.’

Patsy first married in 1988 when she wed Dan Donovan, from 1980s pop group Big Audio Dynamite. The couple divorced in 1991.

She then married Simple Minds front man Jim Kerr in 1992. The couple went on to welcome their son James in 1993, but divorced three years.

Arguably her most famous marriage, to Oasis singer Liam Gallagher , came the following year and lasted until 2000. The couple share a son, Lennon.

She then married Nineties DJ Jeremy Healy in 2009, but the pair split 10 months after the wedding.

Patsy previously spoke candidly about her failed marriages, and earlier this year told The Mirror: ‘You don’t have to marry all of your boyfriends.

‘My goals always been that my sons had a really good relationship with their fathers.

‘For me. I haven’t spoken or had contact with those men. I am very supportive of their relationships with their fathers, but I don’t have one. I like it that way.’

The interview comes just days after Patsy looked nothing short of sensational in a racy black minidress on Sunday as she posed for a sizzling Instagram snap before heading to a party.

The actress showed off her amazing figure as she went braless under the plunging long sleeved YSL number.

Patsy elevated her frame in a pair of towering knee high leather boots and wore a pair of opaque тιԍнтs as she arrived at Perfect Magazine bash during London Fashion Week.

Keeping her accessorises to a minimum, the Gold star styled her long tresses in a neat up do and toted her belongings in a black handbag.

She wrote: ‘Party time. Wearing my favourite @ysl dress’.
