Gizelle Bryant broke her silence on her costar Karen Huger’s jail sentence in her DUI case.
Bryant, 54, shared her reaction to costar on the Real Housewives of Potomac receiving her jail sentence after returning to court on Wednesday.
Huger, 61, was sentenced to two years in jail with one year suspended — meaning she will spend one year behind bars — after she was found guilty in her DUI case.
Just hours after her longtime frenemy — who is already plotting her comeback — was jailed, Bryant said she was ‘shook’ during her Gizelle 21 Shady Questions Live event at City Winery.
‘This just happened today,’ she said, per Us Weekly. ‘I do not have her wigs. I am concerned.’
She added: ‘In all seriousness, I am concerned for her safety. Karen ain’t cut out for jail.’

She has 30 days to file an appeal. During the hearing, she was reportedly overcome with emotions.
According to the Baltimore Banner, she told the judge: ‘I understand better the brutal clarity of the fact that when you’re behind a car driving you’re not just driving for yourself.’
Huger, who is an original cast member of RHOP, continued: ‘It’s my responsibility to make sure that my community members make it where they need to be safely.’
Hugen was found guilty of driving under the influence in December 2024.
During the hearing, Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Terrence McGann addressed the fact that Huger has received a total of four driving violations since 2006.

‘Can we believe that she’s only driven while intoxicated four times in the last 17 years or is it more likely that she’s been very lucky and her inebriation has gone undetected?’ the judge mused.
