Kate Hudson looks tired on morning show after drunk night out with fiancé Danny Fujikawa in NYC

Kate Hudson did not let a late night of partying stop her from showing up to appear on an episode of LIVE with Kelly and Mark.

After staying out into the early hours of Tuesday with her fiancé Danny Fuijikawa and a group of pals in New York City, the actress, 45, did her best to pull it together for ABC’s morning talk show, which airs on weekdays at 9 a.m.

While sitting down with Mark Consuelos and radio personality, Déjà Vu Parker, who was filling in for Kelly Ripa, the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star appeared a bit wearier than usual following her raucous evening.

As she greeted the hosts, Hudson cheerily explained that she was bringing a little ‘morning shine’ with her chic olive green skirt suit set, adorned with gold sequins.

The mother-of-three expertly masked her exhaustion as she gave an enthusiastic interview to promote her new series, Running Point, which hits Netflix on Thursday.

‘It’s an absolute blast,’ she said of the show. ‘I sort of get thrust into this position and really it’s about me trying to solidify that I belong in that position.’

She goes on to describe her character’s ‘very dysfunctional’ family, which includes three brothers that are ‘wildly inappropriate people.’

‘I mean we laugh all day long, it is so much fun and the show turned out great and fun and I’m super excited,’ she said of her time on set with coworkers.

It is unknown if the LIVE with Kelly and Mark taping was prerecorded or live.

Despite a packed 48 hours in The City That Never Sleeps, Hudson managed to squeeze in some fun between her appearances on various morning and late night talk shows.

This includes her boozy Monday evening that went on until 2 a.m. the next day.

Following her drunken night, she bounced right back with a fun appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The actress seemed no worse for wear on Tuesday evening when she appeared on the NBC late-night talk show to promote Running Point.

Her new series Running Point is inspired by the life of Los Angeles Lakers controlling owner and president Jeanie Buss.

Kate stars as the lead Isla Gordon in Running Point which sees her being overlooked her whole life.

But is soon appointed President of the LA Waves basketball team, a family business.

And after a lifetime of being unnoticed, she aims to prove she was the right choice for the job despite skepticism.

The series – which also stars Chet Hanks, Brenda Song, Max Greenfield and Drew Tarver – debuts February 27 on Netflix.

In addition to her new show, Hudson has been busy promoting her new music off her album Glorious, which was released on May 17, 2024.

Last year, Hudson, who earned an Oscar nomination for her performance as a rock groupie in 2000’s Almost Famous, revealed that music has always been her first love.

In an interview with People, ahead of the album release, the singer said she knew ‘If I don’t do this, it’ll be a great regret.’

It was the Covid-19 lockdown that gave the Glᴀss Onion actress the opportunity to really consider trying out music seriously.

‘I’ve always been fearless in the decisions I’ve made, whether it is in relationships or in career, but this was the one thing that I was so afraid of. It’s like I switched something in my brain, and I was like: “I’m just going to do it. F*** it.”‘
