Just hours after a wild drunken night in New York City, Kate Hudson bounced back with a fun appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 45-year-old actress was spotted with a drink in hand, tipsy and bleary-eyed at around 2 AM on Monday with her 38-year-old fiance Danny Fujikawa.

The actress seemed no worse for wear on Tuesday evening when she appeared on the NBC late-night talk show to promote her new Netflix series Running Point.

Hudson and Fallon both starred in the 2000 classic Almost Famous, which was in the news, of sorts, over Super Bowl weekend.

Hudson opened up about the copycat moment, while admitting it would be ‘exhausting’ to do all of the Easter eggs that Swift plants for her fans.

The film was loosely based on writer-director Cameron Crowe’s exploits as a teenage music journalist for Rolling Stone, where he encountered iconic groupie Penny Lane.

One of Penny’s signature looks was a brown coat with a mᴀssive white fur collar and cuffs, which has been making a comeback of late.

Not only was Swift spotted in a Charlotte Simone Billie while heading to dinner the Saturday before the Super Bowl in New Orleans, but Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid were also spotted recently in similar Penny Lane coats as well. 

Hudson was shown a picture of Swift in her coat and Hudson in her coat from the film, which the actress admitted was, ‘very exciting.’

‘She wore the Penny Lane coat, and then there was this whole Easter Egg thing,’ she added, which, in true Swiftie fashion, revolved around the number 13.

Fallon added that the film was released on September 13, 2000, referring to its limited release before expanding nationwide on September 22.

However then he added that The Beatles song named Penny Lane was released on February 13, 1967. 

Hudson admitted, ‘I just have this thing with the Easter Egg thing, which I don’t get,’ though she admits she admires it.

Her new series Running Point is inspired by the life of Los Angeles Lakers controlling owner and president Jeanie Buss.

The series – which also stars Chet Hanks, Brenda Song, Max Greenfield and Drew Tarver – debuts February 27 on Netflix.
