Channel 4 has confirmed the future of The Great Pottery Throw Down after Rose Schmits quit the programme.
The compeтιтion show, which sees a group of amateur potters battle it out to win the series, first hit our screens in 2015.
The Great Pottery first aired on BBC Two, then moved to Move4 and has been on Channel 4 since 2021.
There have been 64 episodes across seven successful seasons, and the eighth series aired earlier this year.
Now fans will be happy to know that there will indeed be a ninth.

Rose Schmits quit the Channel 4 show back in October – after joining the cast in 2021
The broadcaster has asked those who are interested to take part in the show to apply before midday on April 14 2025.
The programme has been hosted by Sara Cox, Melanie Sykes, and Ellie Taylor in the past, and Siobhán McSweeney is the current presenter.
Each contestant is judged by Kieth Jones and Richard Miller.
Previous judges include Sue Pryke and Kate Malone.
Former judge Rose Schmits quit her role on the show back in October 2024, three years after joining the cast.

The show confirmed that she had decided to step away on Instagram, writing: ‘A mᴀssive thank you to @RoseKilnWitch who is leaving the show after four series as our kiln tech.
‘Rose has fired everything from jugs to loos and done her utmost to protect the potters from the kiln gods.
‘We wish you and your bow ties the best for the future.’
She added: ‘This was fully my decision by the way, they did want me back but it just wasn’t worth it for me anymore.’
The eighth series of the Channel 4 show returned last month.
Fans will be treated to 10 episodes this season.
The contestants include Chris, 36, Francesca, 28, Diana, 62, Hayley, 55, Imy, 22, James, 42, Jonathan, 61, Natalie 41, Steve, 48, Stephen, 58, Victor, 31, and Olivia 26.
Filming took place at Gladstone Pottery Museum in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.
