Romeo Beckham poked fun at his father David as he recreated one of his shirtless gym snaps on Tuesday.

The model, 22, went shirtless in the snap as he posed in a squat rack while wearing black gym shorts and blue trainers.

Romeo beamed at the camera while someone held up an iPhone with a black and white sH๏τ of his dad in a similar pose next to him.

Alongside the snap, Romeo wrote: ‘Nice dad @davidbeckham’. His father saw the funny side and reposted the pH๏τo to his own Instagram Stories. 

Romeo is following in his father’s footsteps and recently posed for a Hugo Boss campaign where he looked the spitting image of his famous dad.

It comes after David revealed that he and his wife Victoria give each other ‘plenty of grief’ when they exercise together as he offered insight into their gruelling joint workouts.

It comes after David recently posed for the cover of Men’s Health UK 

The couple are no stranger to share snaps of one another while hitting the gym, with Victoria quick to delight her followers by posting shirtless snaps of her spouse.

Speaking to Men’s Health UK, David, 49, revealed that he and Victoria, 50, exercise together ‘five or six times a week,’ after he convinced her to try working with his personal trainer Bob Rich. 

He said: ‘I’ve been trying to get Victoria to work out with [personal trainer] Bob [Rich] for years, and she finally agreed to adjust her workout. And now we do five days a week, sometimes six together. 

‘I love training with Victoria. I give her a lot of grief. We both give each other plenty of grief. She’s not very good at listening to Bobby… She does her own thing. 

‘She’s not great at taking a rest. He’ll get her to have 90 seconds rest and she’ll be ready to go after 25 seconds.’

During his interview with the publication, David also detailed the shocking back-breaking injury he suffered in 2011.

The former footballer was playing and living in Los Angeles for LA Galaxy when he ‘broke his back and spine’ during a game, which ultimately led to his retirement in 2013.

Sharing rare details about his gruelling injury, David admitted: ‘I actually broke my back. I was living in LA and cracked my spine.

‘I had pain after a game, I went for a scan and couldn’t find anything wrong with it. 

‘I was insisting there was something not right there – I could feel it. So, they injected me with dye, and then it came up. It was a bad one.’

As he approaches his fifties, David revealed his body is ‘feeling better than it has done for a long time’ and shared the secret thing he is doing to keep in shape.

Often seen working out with his wife Victoria in their home gym, David said he enjoys playing padel three times a week as well as working out everyday to maintain his jaw-dropping physique. 

David shares four children – Harper, 13, Brooklyn, 25, Cruz, 19, and Romeo, 22, – with Victoria, whom have been married since 1999.

Posing in a fitness-inspired shoot, David promoted BOSS underwear – after his most risqué shoot ever in January.

He proved he’s still got it as he left little to the imagination in the jaw-dropping snaps.

As the star of the new campaign, David posed up a storm in a series of sultry pictures, wearing only his underwear.

He proudly showcased his sculpted physique and tattooed torso in a number of the brand’s new range, including a tiny pair of black hip briefs.

Captioning the video, which is set to the tune of Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight, he penned: ‘A film by Mert & Marcus… 9:30PM GMT tonight @BOSS.’

Fans of the star were quick to share their appreciation for his efforts in the comments, with one remarking: ‘Sir, you’re aging like a fine wine’ and another echoing: ‘You’ve still got it David.’

A third flustered follower remarked: ‘Can’t breathe’ while another suggested he could be the next 007, by writing: ‘New bond film looks good’.
